It's a retarded argument that you can't back up with anything other than what if's. Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl, guess Don Shula wasted his prime years away too. Ben has been to three Super Bowls, won two of them (two of them with Tomlin, the talent waster himself). Most franchises haven't even seen that type of success. Yet here we are, spoiled as hell as a fan base, bitching and moaning because we haven't been back to the Super Bowl in 8 years. Bunch of ******* thin skinned crybaby's on here making **** up to fit their agenda's.

What's even worse is using stats without context. It's like using just QB stats to prove who is the better QB. Cowher was replacing HOF players and very good players every year until the new stadium. He went through a power struggle with Donahoe (who drafted Troy Edwards over Cowher's objections).

Contrast that with Tomlin who has had a milk run since he has been here. He's never had to worry about the QB position. Never had to worry about FAs leaving. Never had to worry about a new GM. Tomlin was given a HOF DC and given limited ability to **** anything up.

To say they are the same is ignorant and lacks understanding. I hope Tomlin goes to another team. Let him build a team. Let him be responsible for everything. I'd love to see that.

The one handed the keys to the franchise but who the Rooneys did not trust to hire his own coordinators his entire tenure here before he hired his mediocre buddy Fitchnber 11 years into his tenure.

Cowher's players coached by a moron. You know the game where the Packers were losing their DBs to injury and after the game Tomlin said they did not change their game plan and attack the rookie CB replacements because that is not what we do, ******* retarded POS.

There is no disconnect. You're ok with comparing two coaches with vastly different pedigrees. I understand you preface the comparison with "I think Tomlin should go" but then you continue to argue stats without context. No one thinks Cowher is a god. Or that he was the greatest coach every. Hell he isn't the best coach the Steelers ever had. But he's light years ahead of Tomlin. Even if Cowher had stayed and won 4 rings he still wouldn't be better than Noll because of what Noll had to do. He took over a horrible (clowns type horrible) team and made a dynasty. I judge a coach on how he did with what he had.

BTW I left here for years because I got banned for saying something mean to 81. You and your circle jerk are still mostly here with this same ****. Hell I was a life time member. But when I came back they stripped me of that. I was told that they didn't have life time memberships anymore or couldn't remember who was one. Some **** like that.

Nobody on this board ever wants to give the coaches credit when we win. They sure want to place blame when we lose tho lol. Great job by the coaches today.

Cowher's team his last season when he quit was 8-8. Im sure the fans on this board was trying to drive him out as well. Its the common theme for some fans, we lose and its the coaches fault.

Tomlin had the hardest position in football to find already on the roster when he took over, he had a franchise QB. How do you think our offenses in the 90's would've been if we had Marino when Cowher took over. Again we went to 4 AFCCG under Cowher without a franchise QB, we've gone to 3 under Tomlin with a franchise QB.

They won and no one can take that away from them. But his big moves were Burns which he pulled after the first series and Boz. They had a good defensive gameplan. Got some help from uncarachteristic Pats* errors and penalties. Tomlin deserves credit. I will enjoy this win all week still many problems remain.

i am more concerned with the offense. As well as the D played the offense only put up 17. We were gashing them on the ground but still seemed to rely on the deep ball too much. I feel we should have methodically matched down the field
