Tom Brady calls it quits with the Pats

Brady is a terrible fit with Tampa and Arians. Their offense is all about pushing it downfield. Vertical routes. They have Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Breshad Perriman actually came on strong in that offense as a deep threat. All of them are vertical threats. They can run slants and crosses but it’s not what they do. They aren’t quick, run after catch guys.

This upgrade the fantasy prospects of the RB Ronald Jones, and the TE’s OJ Howard and Cameron Brate. Those are the guys who do the underneath stuff that Brady’s pop gun arm can handle.

This move could be mostly with an eye toward drafting a QB and having him watch Brady for a year and learn.

Brady was 7th in the NFL in deep passing rating at 107. He will be fine

He will be fine. you are a fool if you think Brady didn't talk to Arians and demand his system be implemented. No way does Brady agree to go to the Bucs and play in the chuck and heave deep passing game that Arians is so famous for.

so then you agree with my point that Brady is not a good fit in the typical Arians offense.

NO OE is good in a typical Arans offense but Brady will run his own offense and will be great throwing deep when he chooses to. He killed it with Moss and his 2019 stats show he is still good on deep throws. Moss was just on ESPN extolling Bradys deep ball prowess and saying Evans will be thrilled in having Brady throwing deep to him often and effectively.

**** Brady. **** him with a Red Hot Poker.

I would be surprised if he makes it past one year. I think he is about done...............

We'll see how he does without Belicheat and Ernie Adams telling him what's coming. His penchant for throwing teammates under the bus when things don't go well may not play well everywhere either.

That big year with Moss was a long time ago. Brady's arm is shot now. Last year he may have completed a good % of deep balls but didn't throw many. Brady threw away a ton of balls last year because he won't take hits.

Is it a good fit to bring in a guy for maybe 1 year when you have to completely change your offense to fit him?

This is an ego move for Brady. Nobody thinks the Bucs have a chance to win anything, but they have weapons and he can put up good stats, so that's why he picked them.

Brady will buy all the dildos in the area?

That and toilet paper for mascara removal..........

EDIT: Also we practice with our RED HOT POKERs on UGGs wearers...

Tom Brady to join Tampa Bay Buccaneers, agrees to deal in principle

The NFL Network reported Tuesday night that Brady and the Buccaneers have reached “an agreement in principle.” According to the NFL Network and ESPN, the deal is worth around $30 million.

**** I wish the Steelers played the Bucs this year.
He has some weapons there, but unless Howard at TE makes a big jump and they land a slot that knows exactly where to be, he will get roasted. I don't think what Arians does is a match here. Tom's about find the matchup and throw the 4 yard out or the TE seem. They do have the makings of a good defense. They will be better but the Saints will be tough

I can't believe he left. i thought it was all media hype

Dead Man Walking.

Walking for now. He will be on his *** before long.

Bwahahahahahaha....I can't wait!!! Brady exposed for the system QB that he is. Finally! They don't throw 5 yard pick routes in Tampa **** face!

I wonder if he will get the "same" on field preference as he did at his old employment? This could be a great thing, watching him go down with his Buccanner's pirate ship.

The stats show Brady throwing a ton of passes down the field . Great article on ESPN breaking down his year compared to his career and the prod and cons of his going to the Bugs and Arians. Much better fit than on surface and details how he will modify Arians system to fit his quick throws while also going more plat action and going deep.

I really dont think he is playing for the money. Dude has played for 20 years. If he averaged 15 per year that is 300 million. And everyone says his wife has made more. Which I really dont believe actually. Maybe some years but not on average. If she actually makes more than him it's because she is the collection point for Kraft's graft salary cap money.
I think he still believes he can play. This was the best or only real option on the field and oh if I'm gonna play you are gonna pay. If they have a good offensive line he might enjoy it. He is still super accurate and can read a defense. I honestly think he will take a beatdown and his career will end before week 17. I'm assuming the Pats will go for Dalton.
Who do you want to do better:
1. Brady without Belicheat.
2. The Pats* without Brady.
Personally I want the Pat's to suffer more cause of the fans but I hope they get a Dalton and win like 8 games. I dont want to see them draft a QB in the top 5 with Lawrence available next April.

Its hard to judge brady last year he had terrible wrs and tes. Im sure his arm isn't what it used to be, but look what Manning did in denver with a much worse arm. Brady will be super motivated and they have good weapons so i wouldn't be shocked if he did well. I think the pats are much worse off. Sanu never looked good, their #1 wr pick didn't look so hot, they still have no TE and now no QB. The D will keep them in some games, but i could see them only winning 5-6 games

A lot of talk Brady wants AB to sign and if that's the case, you know Tampa will consider making it happen.
