Todd Haley Out as Offensive Coordinator

I've been bichin' about Haley for years. There must have been 50 replies back to me saying I'm wrong.

You might be right about Ben and Art forcing Haley out. One thing I never got is why Ben and Tomlin are strangers on the sideline.

Coach, I think it is because Ben knows football and situational football, something him and Coach Cool Shades probably clash on. Ben didn't like the onside attempt and HIS body language told you so.
Thus the reason they don't hang out on the sidelines..................Plus Ben don't want to get run over when Tomlin decides to hang a little over onto the field.

I got the breaking ESPN text in the middle of health class. I saw it and almost jumped out of my chair screaming...lol. Haley should have been gone a few years ago. He just didn't fit in with the Pittsburgh mentality and he was a window licker when it came to calling plays. The botched 4th and 1 calls in this past game sealed his fate, fair or not.
 
Who knows if Haley's the guy who took QB sneaks out of the playbook? Whoever did, that guy should be fired.

And the fact that all defensive coaches (specifically Butler) are coming back, makes me question whether I really want to invest any time watching this team next season...

His situational play calling was horrible at times.

I hated Haley but in the end it was the "D" who couldn't stop from giving up al.ost 50 points. Clean house. Tomlin keeps the D coaching staff but no one said Tomlins job was safe. More importantly what's Ben going to do? Are we looking at a rebuild from top to bottom?

So, the side of the ball that performed Sunday is gone and the ones who embarrassed the franchise are safe? I do not like Haley, but the offense isn't going to keep us from winning titles, that trash *** defense will though.

If Ben was in the huddle, and decided to QB sneak what are they going to do if that's what he calls? I'm sorry, but Ben is full of ******* **** on that one. Had Belichick called a sweep on 4th and a foot, Brady would laugh and tell the players in the huddle they were sneaking the football. Ridiculous. And I hated the call, and do not Like Haley.

Don't worry, you'll hate Fichtner too. Everyone will. They'll also hate the guy who comes after him once he's gone. It's a no win with fans of every team. Most hated position in sports lol.

I am staring at a picture of Randy Fichtner right now. I will print it out and stare at it whenever I'm having a bad day ...Just so that when the season starts, I am able to raise the appropriate amount of ire and disdain that his position requires!

Ben said there was NO audible to call and that if he tried to run it no one would know a blocking scheme. There was not even a play to call unless you wanted him to go up to the line and yell check check, QB sneak. you have to actually have a play to call a play..

4th& 1....what do you do? That would be in my interview questions. For the most part that offense never had any flow to it unless they ran a no huddle. So much stuff made no sense. That wr bubble screen is the most wasted play in the book. I've never got why they never went much with a FB&RB in short yardage situations that much. Keep it simple stupid. This **** isn't rocket science. It's a little chess match with violence. Be more violent than them. It's a mindset. Just like the Steelers used to pride themselves on shutting down the run and never allowing a 100 yard rusher.
