I don't think that's the same cause Manning sucks. They paid him for how he had been preforming. Not the **** they got last year.

I was just trying to illustrate what the Steelers have in Ben, and why they should be pushing harder to win now than they currently are.

Despite the circumstances, all the injuries, dropped passes, and the Troussant fumble, Ben performed much better than Brady or Newton did against that Broncos defense.

I totally think they should aggressively pursue an Eric Berry, Janoris Jenkins, or Josh Norman: something that would put the team over the top in Ben's remaining prime years.

yeah no doubt, our offense took it to Denver's defense twice, and I'm all for heading toward cap trouble 4 or 5 years down the road to get one of those guys listed above to make our defense better so the offense doesn't have to be near perfect to win.

On to topic, we do need to sign two FA CBs, Gay being one of them as he should come cheap, the other I'm hoping for Amukamara or some other decent level CB. I could even live with Boykin as long as they put him on the field of course

I get the feeling we'll see just how good a GM Elway is with the recent developments in Denver. He seems pissed about Osweiler leaving.
