Thoughts on the Ram game?

I just don't see the threat that some here do... kind of like SF... The rams have been average to bad defensively and mediocre to inept offensively through two games. they scored some points in the first game, but it wasn't any great offensive showing... their advanced stats look as mediocre as their real stats do... they have had some deep stops against some bland offensive teams. We have gotten a lot better in the red zone when we get aggressive. Again, unless we are hungover or looking ahead to the Ravens... I think this one is a breeze... well as much of a breeze as the steelers are allowed to have

This! the Rams D is 30th vs the run, they have no offense. We should win by 25

I think Bell gets 150 all purpose yards with at least 1 TD and Brown gets 150 receiving yards with 1 TD.

Agreed. The Steelers offense is elite. The defense, even with Shazier, is not and he is absent this game. Further, the Rams special teams play is very good.
 
I want to see the offense finish drives with TD's. We would be 2-0 if we could do that on a regular basis. Unfortunately it is more often than not that we move the ball and then settle for 3.

Eliminate stupid mistakes.

Cover Jared Cook. Fisher always kills us with the TE.

Our special teams, seem to be a lot better, now that we get touch backs....................

Agreed, both of our kickers are limiting the return talent we are facing, and when we have to tackle, we're doing it quickly.
 
I want to see Archer make it past the 30 at least once on a KO return. Oh, who am I kidding. I'd be happy if he made it past the 20 just once.:lemo:
 
It will be an intersting game. The Steelers gotta come out firing. The Rams always play Seattle tough so they looked great week one and **** the bed the next week. Make it a track meet and take your chances with that.
 
I hope the WR's can block without getting called for holding today, as I see some dump offs to Bell for catch & run opportunities today. I hope Heyward Bey brings his sticky gloves today. I hope Wallace had his wheaties and we dont have to keep Bell/Miller back to block all day. I hope Ben remembers that getting the ball out quick helps keep him clean. I hope Spence plays as fast as I think he can and makes sure tackles. I hope our defense outplays the Rams defense. I hope for a Steelers WIN.
