Sleep on it and in the morning you’ll realize how delusional that expectation is.This performance was a complete embarrassment if someone isn't fired by morning we're in for a long year.

Scheme where WRs have a difficult time getting separation and shoddy O-line play can factor in accuracy. In Kenny's case his lack of confidence leads to happy feet. Then he isn't in the process drifting away from pressure but often into it.Kenny is statistically the worst QB in the league, throws picks, accuracy and decision making are subpar. Half the catchable ball are caught by the other team. Playcalling doesn't affect accuracy.
Seriously, is any player on this team being coached up?If you are laying the problem primarily at Kenny's feet I will have to disagree with you. He isn't being coached up.
I am thinking....Seriously, is any player on this team being coached up?

I am incredulous just how naive (or maybe homer-ish) this fan base has become for this QB. Hell, even Baker Mayfield had respectable numbers despite a motley crew of castaway OC's.
Canada's playbook has been bad, but that does not excuse:
Sure, KP may be 'serviceable' if we got him a Sean McVay OC, and a All-Pro OL. But so would almost any backup QB in the league.
- KP's piss poor pocket awareness (which resulted in him getting injured)
- Inaccuracies
- Sub-par arm strength, which is why we dont throw in the middle of the field
IMO this injury gives us the perfect excuse to begin scouting new QB's for this upcoming draft.
No, because it’s beneath too many coaches egos… players should be self developing … thats why we often keep pedigree over projectsSeriously, is any player on this team being coached up?
I did stay until the bitter end unfortunately. I felt good and should've cut the grass. Today, my back isn't cooperating so the grass grows taller. ****I am no way emotionally invested in this team anymore. It was amazingly easy to go out in my yard and trim trees for the rest of the day at halftime. 10 years ago, I would have stayed until the bitter end. I have better things to do than watch the kind of crap that went on yesterday, and I damn sure ain't paying any money to watch or buy merch.
I'm kinda on hiatus now. Look, I am a positive guy. But I don't like going into a game hopeless and that's what this feels like. And I mean nothing. I think the players feel hopeless too and that is why it looks as bad as it does.I'm sorry I've seen Mitch, Rudolph and even a HOF Q. Look subpar with current staff. I'd have to see Kenny with someone else look bad before I'd cut bait. Only two more years to decide. And quite honestly if Canada is back next year.....I'm on fan hiatus
How can Kendrick Green be so bad here and average to serviceable on a line missing their best? MUST BE THE COACHING!!!!!!!

Pretty much how everyone who knows football and loves team feels. Look they might pull the rabbit of mediocrity out of their ***** like last year but they simply are not going to progress to what I thought might happen in off season moves and blame is clearly pointed at one man here. Canada is what he is. He is not the bottom line why season is a disappointment that's above him.I'm kinda on hiatus now. Look, I am a positive guy. But I don't like going into a game hopeless and that's what this feels like. And I mean nothing. I think the players feel hopeless too and that is why it looks as bad as it does.
They are stuck though for sure. Even if they fire Canada, can you change the whole system during the season? Cause you have too...this is terrible. You can't shine shiit.
Purdy would look terrible and would already be on the bench in Pittsburgh based on his draft status. Now 100% credit to Purdy for making plays, but man, those guys are running open out there. Week 1, San Francisco had multiple players wide open on so many plays...something I haven't seen in Pittsburgh for years. I'm not sure if Pickett is at Purdy's level in SF, but he would certainly be much better than he is here."Damage" is a good way to put it. I was watching Brock Purdy play in the late window, and all he did today was go 20-21 for 283 yards. He was the last pick in the 2022 draft. An afterthought. Yet here he is, absolutely thriving in an NFL system that actually puts players where they should be, and utilizes the whole field with plays that make sense.
I'm disappointed as hell with KP, but I have to wonder how he may have performed with the coaching and coordination in San Francisco...and how different Purdy might look under this bullshlt regime in Pittsburgh.
I am willing to bet that 49er coach would either eliminate or minimize Kenny's bad tendencies that he is showing. Last year Kenny was a little more confident with adrenaline pushing his way, then when he soaked in more of their crap his tendencies escalated instead of minimalizing. These coaches barely develop anyone.Purdy would look terrible and would already be on the bench in Pittsburgh based on his draft status. Canada is bad at his job and Tomlin doesn't help turn this unit into a conservative offense afraid of making mistakes. He doesn't even seem to care that 2 TDs in a week is an outstanding effort.
Name one QB that has done well since Canada's arrival. Who is Tomlin developing? What scheme is excelling? What positional group did well against the Niners and Texans? Few and far between.I am incredulous just how naive (or maybe homer-ish) this fan base has become for this QB. Hell, even Baker Mayfield had respectable numbers despite a motley crew of castaway OC's.

Tomlin is the master of mediocre miraclesI thought the thread was "There is no season left". Stoned by 2nd and 3rd stringers on the OL and shredded by a rookie QB. This team is trash from ownership on down. Finally, I think Tomlin finally gets a losing season. I can't imagine this team finishing better than 7-10. What bothers me is the only people who seem to care are the members on this board.
I was about to write: "Your bromance with Tomlin finally ran its course, did it?"I'm kinda on hiatus now.
Whoops.I still think Tomlin is an outstanding coach. I really do.
