No Cope. The Steelers have to play THEM. Make no mistake. The impetus is on the Steelers. And right now for a ton of reasons, they are right at the line. And that just won't cut it against playoff caliber teams.
And other teams have to contend with this:
Slowing down the best WR in the league.
If you slow down AB, you still have to contend with JuJu
Finding a way to match up a fast ILB (HA) or a box safety to cover Vance.
Keeping an eye on Conner, is he running or going out for a pass?
Planning for a HOF QB
Planning for an OC that switches strategies and personnel on the fly
Planning to slow the league's #1 pass rush
Can you still move the ball if they take away your #1 WR (Yes to all but Sanders thus far).
If you have a rush attack, can you account for which ILB/Box Safety will be hitting the A/B gap on run blitzes?
Dealing with the only team in the NFL that is top 10 on O and D
There's quite a bit to plan for when you play the Steelers, and thus far, only teams that won the turnover battle have found a way to win. And even if you win the TO battle, victory still isn't certain against this team.
