The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

I'm pretty sure the Third Reich was very good at scrubbing all information that didn't meet their ideals and promoting the tripe that furthered their cause.
That is as accurate a description of this board as I've seen. Kudos for that.

Yes, anyone that dares criticize Lord Trump is a Soros-funded, left-wing, subversive menace. All dissention should be ignored and dismissed, opposing viewpoints ridiculed and shunned aside. Pretty much how the Third Reich rose to power, the blueprint is certainly out there.

Here's how the 3rd reich came to power. Hitler was a union organizer, a great speaker. He was a loud critic of the government. The weaklings in power decided to appease hitler by giving him a government position, thinking that would shut him up.

It didn't, and not long after that was the "night of the long knives" where hitler and his followers murdered many government officials, then hitler assumed power and became a dictator.

yeah, just like this board works. Murder vs arguments.

I can see the confusion though as liberals often scream bloody murder when confronted with facts.

None of the board members are card carrying media authorities last time I checked. We are just American citizens with opinions. The MSM members try to pass their **** off as unbiased and professional. They are neither.

I think you need to direct your rage against the Economist and ask yourself the question, why such a reputable publication would put out a cover story like that. In fact, you may want to go read that article and learn something. Nah, never mind, get back to your crayons and coloring book.

Direct my rage...... reputable publication.......crayons and coloring book....Uncle George will not be happy with such unimaginative and uninspiring gibberish.

Pyeongchang chief says it would be honor to host Melania, Ivanka Trump at Olympics

MANHATTAN – While leaving the final decision to the White House, the South Korean organizing committee for the upcoming Winter Games hopes that first lady Melania Trump, as well as President Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, will be selected to lead the U.S. presidential delegation to Pyeongchang.

While it is unknown which names President Trump will include in the delegation for Pyeongchang, let alone if he will attend himself, “it is my hope that high-level people will participate and attend our Games,” said Lee Hee-beom, the president and CEO of the Pyeongchang organizing committee.

Hundreds arrested in MS-13 crackdown

Hundreds of people have been arrested in connection with a federal crackdown on MS-13, CBS News reported early Thursday ahead of a briefing from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The deputy director of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Tom Homan, and the deputy assistant attorney general for the DOJ's criminal division, David Rybicki, later Thursday will detail the results of an operation aimed at taking down the gang throughout the U.S.

The update comes several months after President Trump gave a speech in Long Island meant to detail the administration’s plan to crack down on MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha. Speaking in a town where MS-13 has launched attacks, Trump linked the gang violence to soft immigration enforcement.

“It is the policy of this administration to dismantle, decimate and eradicate MS-13,” Trump said at the time.

Trump picks immigration hardliner Tom Homan as ICE director

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Tuesday named immigration hardliner Tom Homan, who has served nearly 10 months as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to run ICE on a permanent basis. Homan has run the agency since Obama appointee Sarah Saldaña — the former U.S. attorney in Dallas — stepped down when Trump took office in January. He has been a public face of the administration's crackdowns on immigrants and border security, a tough talking law enforcement careerist who is unapologetic about being "heartless" when it comes to deporting even the most sympathetic longtime U.S. residents.

"I get asked all the time, 'Why do you arrest somebody that has been here for 10 years, for 15 years in the USA and has kids?,'" he said a month ago at the conservative Heritage Foundation. "If we keep sending this message, 'It's OK to violate the laws of this country and ... not be worried about enforcement,' then we're never going to solve the border crisis.... It's never going to be solved as long as people think they get a free pass."

The White House announced the nomination with no fanfare, in a formal notice that Trump was sending Homan's name to the Senate. The president was flying from Manila to Hawaii on his way back to Washington after a 13-day Asia trip.

If the Economist construes "Global Power" as being the leader of a globalist, progressive, new world order than I fully support Trump NOT to be that.

I think Trump is being a great world leader and swinging the pendulum of globalism back towards nationalism, sovereignty, common sense immigration and win-win trade ideals that have country's working classes supported.

Just the fact he TALKS about these ideals is what is important on a global stage right now. The world needed to hear that from one of the world powers, especially democratically elected countries.

The Economist has their opinion. I have mine. No facts in there at all. Just opinion. Modern state of "news" now....

DOJ Targets More Sanctuaries

Yesterday DOJ sent a letter to 29 sanctuary jurisdictions that received law enforcement grants under the Byrne/Justice Assistance Grants program in 2016, warning them that they appear to be in violation of federal law and may have to repay the funds.

EPA's Scott Pruitt drains the swamp like no one else in Washington

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt is a man who gets things done.

Despite resistance from within his own agency and an environment lobby bent on stopping him, he’s doing his part to drain the swamp and return government to the people. He’s bringing what citizens demand of a federal agency: Transparency and reasoned, fact-based decision-making resting on sound statutory footing.

Take the contentious issue of global warming. Pruitt called for a reasoned debate. But his critics mocked the suggestion, claiming it would be an outrage to place “fringe” views on an even platform with “established, peer-reviewed research.” But it is tyrants and mobs — not reasonable policymakers intent on serving the public — who ridicule debate and discussion. It undercuts arbitrary rule and fear, their chief weapons.

Consider Pruitt’s recent directive prohibiting scientists from serving on one of the agency’s three main advisory panels while they are receiving EPA grant funding. It applies to the three main advisory boards at the EPA: The Science Advisory Board, the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC), and the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC).

Pruitt made the case that the directive is necessary to ensure the agency’s research programs are informed by independent experts with no financial ties to the programs. As he noted, advisory board members have received $77 million in grant money over the past three years — half of the total amount allotted. “When we have members of those committees that received tens of millions of dollars in grants at the same time that they are advising this agency on rulemaking, that is not good,” Pruitt said. His directive is prudent, and it is the type of common-sense safeguard that citizens expect in a self-governed republic.

LaVar Ball downplays Donald Trump's role in UCLA freshmen's release
Arash MarkaziESPN Senior Writer

LOS ANGELES -- LaVar Ball downplayed his son's shoplifting incident in China, as well as President Donald Trump's involvement in getting LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA basketball players back to the United States earlier this week.

"Who?" LaVar Ball told ESPN on Friday, when asked about Trump's involvement in the matter. "What was he over there for? Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out."

UCLA freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, who had been detained in China on suspicion of shoplifting, landed in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening and addressed the media on Wednesday before being indefinitely suspended by the team.

Trump, who returned late Tuesday from a trip through Asia, raised the players' case with President Xi Jinping of China during a visit to Beijing last week. All three players offered thanks to Trump during Wednesday's news conference.

The players were arrested and questioned on Nov. 7 about stealing from high-end stores, including sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store next to the team's hotel in Hangzhou, where the Bruins had been staying before leaving for Shanghai to face Georgia Tech.

UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero said Wednesday that the players stole from three stores. They were released from custody after posting bail early Nov. 8, on the condition that they surrender their passports; they had been staying at a lakeside hotel in Hangzhou prior to flying home.

"As long as my boy's back here, I'm fine," LaVar Ball told ESPN. "I'm happy with how things were handled. A lot of people like to say a lot of things that they thought happened over there. Like I told him, 'They try to make a big deal out of nothing sometimes.' I'm from L.A. I've seen a lot worse things happen than a guy taking some glasses. My son has built up enough character that one bad decision doesn't define him. Now if you can go back and say when he was 12 years old he was shoplifting and stealing cars and going wild, then that's a different thing.

President Trump challenges Hillary Clinton to run again in 3 years

President Donald Trump on Saturday dared his former Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, to run against him again, a day after she questioned the legitimacy of last year’s election and blamed her loss on Russian interference and voter suppression.

In an early morning tweet, the president taunted Clinton, apparently in reference to an interview with her published on the liberal news website Mother Jones a year after her she lost the race for president while winning the popular vote.

“Crooked Hillary Clinton is the worst (and biggest) loser of all time. She just can’t stop, which is so good for the Republican Party. Hillary, get on with your life and give it another try in three years!” the president posted to Twitter

Bloomberg sucks. Yikes.

There's another billionaire that can't divest his so-called "conflicts of interest". Of course, when he runs for office the democrats and main stream media don't care at all about that.

Democrats are "for the little guy". Therefore their corporate interests are fine. :rolleyes1:
Problem is that Bernie already called them out on that and there are a lot of people on Bernie's side.
