President Donald Trump is calling Japan a "treasured partner and crucial ally" as he kicks off a tour of Asia.

Trump addressed service members at Yokota Air Force base outside Tokyo immediately after arriving in Japan on Sunday morning. He thanked Japan "for welcoming us and for decades of wonderful friendship between our two nations."

Trump and first lady Melania Trump were welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd. The president was given a bomber jacket. He quickly put it on after removing his suit jacket and said: "I like this better."

Trump also told the service members that he wanted to "celebrate your achievements."

Tibs posted a joke front page of a defunct magazine. The magazine shut down in early 2016. That is where Tibs is right now - fake news from a closed magazine.

Russia, Russia, Russia, Manafort, money-laundering, Russia, Putin, aaaaaaagh.

Uhhh, Clinton actually engaged in highly suspicious activity by accepting millions of dollars from interested parties and nations to the "Clinton Foundation," and by having her hubby paid a massive speaking fee by Russia while simultaneously negotiating a very large deal with a company owned by the Russian government. No problem, says Tibs, fake news. Except the NYT says otherwise:

The headline on the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.” The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one. At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.

Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to theKremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock. At the time, both Rosatom and the United States government made promises intended to ease concerns about ceding control of the company’s assets to the Russians. Those promises have been repeatedly broken, records show.

The New York Times’s examination of the Uranium One deal is based on dozens of interviews, as well as a review of public records and securities filings in Canada, Russia and the United States. Some of the connections between Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation were unearthed by Peter Schweizer, a former fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution and author of the forthcoming book “Clinton Cash.” Mr. Schweizer provided a preview of material in the book to The Times, which scrutinized his information and built upon it with its own reporting.

Tibs' response? "Fake news, stop reading Breitbart." Uhhh, yeah, except it's the New York Times. Direct evidence of shady deals, lies, hiding information, non-disclosure, and using the government for financial self-interest. But not a whit of concern by the left.

And voter fraud? Direct, irrefutable evidence of financial shenanigans and corruption of the DNC, once again involving the Clintons, to rig a primary. Freaking rig it and direct the outcome. The left's response? "Oh, fake news, and it's not illegal anyway." What about use of the DNC fundraising machine to guide money to the Clinton campaign, very likely illegally? The left's response, "Who cares? Why are you guys obsessed with Hillary??"

So a suggestion. How about you direct a little of your Trump-rage at those we KNOW were skirting the rules, lying, hiding, and corrupting the 2016 election?

No wonder you guys love talking about Hillary morning, noon and night. I don't blame you.

Trump’s approval rating is far lower than any president in 7 decades of polling

A majority of Americans say President Trump has not accomplished much during his first nine months in office, and they have delivered a report card that is far harsher even than the tepid expectations they set for his tenure when he was sworn into office, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News survey.

Tibs, two years of being wrong and you still quote polls?

Really?

Your right Tibs......fixing a broken economy isnt an accomplishment at all. An unemployment rate of 4% means nothing. Why would anyone want to stop terrorist from entering our country? How dare us put the safety of our families over Jose's right to free stuff?

Don't waste your time. He's too libtarded to understand common sense and rational ideals.

So in my travels through the rust belt i have yet to find one person who voted for Trump not willing to do so again... i mean those who didn't aren't converting either... im just not sure if the dems have a candidate who can inspire more votes... apathy reigns among the non hardcores when you aren't rabid about your guy or gal

Also did anyone see that not one major poll changed anything after being so wrong last time... they will never adapt and this continue with the same bias because they have to adjust to the people who have moved from traditional grouping and away from relying on older communication devices like landlines...

Stay tuned for our

GIANT ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY!

Democrat Party hits lowest mark in 25 years

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah we need more Communists!"

Democrats still haunted by 2016

On Election Day 2016, Democrats suffered a devastating and shocking loss. A year later, they're still sorting through the wreckage. The infighting, the divisive personalities and the questions about how it happened are still front and center, threatening to hold the party back in elections into next year's midterms.

More dems voted for the Virginia governor than those who voted for hillary. If the dems show up to vote republicans are in trouble.

You can spin and fault the polls, but until last year they had been reliable. Trump's team ran a smart campaign, but if he had been going against anyone but Hillary he would have been stomped. To totally dismiss the trends and polls is foolish. Trump is not gaining votes and his approval is dropping. Repubs are dropping out of congress and McCain will more than likely die soon. The whole repub party is in trouble. They can turn it around, but they need to get it together and it starts at the top. If Trump doesn't broaden his base then he isn't going to win. If the dems throw up a charismatic people person and concentrate on the rust belt Trump won't carry it
