That doesn’t answer my very direct question. You accuse me of being wrong, then refuse to say what (supposedly) really motivated the Democrats who have been in favor of releasing the files.

I understand the issue as being one of the courts. When the courts lift the gag ban on the "list", it will be released. Not until then.
 
Trump has been all over the map with the Epstein files recently, but now is back on the release bandwagon. The back and forth between everyone is just ridiculous. Can't Trump just make an executive order and force the release of everything?

or, sidestepping all that, can't Flog just list everyone? ze has seen all the files, read the documents and with ze's sharp, photographic mind can recount precisely whom, what, when and where.

He also called for an investigation into Bill Clinton’s involvement with Epstein - don’t be surprised if Bondi announces the files can’t be released, despite the vote, because of an open investigation.
