All hate Steelers team

Rules: Just pick the biggest D**ks, Draft busts or chokers of all time that made the Steelers look bad dating back to the 1980's.

Offense:

QB: Stewart. A non-passing type of QB who ruined the Steelers changes one time too many in the playoffs. The AFC championship game vs Denver comes to mind.

RB: Bell. A drug and off the field suspension loser, who lied to the fans, and his teammates about a positive test, and ultimately cost himself money by sitting out a year. He took an offer the next season for less. I think Bell benefited greatly from the Steelers OL and talent around him and will become average on the Jets. He so belongs on this team.

RB: Mendenhall. The guy who fumbled away our chances in the super bowl was a horrible teammate, and actually looked excited when the player ahead of him went out of a game.

WR: Brown. Yes, he was a great player. Ben also made him great. When Ben was out Mr. Big chest didn't stand so tall. Paring him with Stewart would be poetic justice for a guy who ruined his trade value and bolted out of a game. Get your social media popcorn ready.

WR: Limas Sweed. Just think about the number of chances he'll get in single coverage.

TE: Larius Green. Assuming he was healthy, let's give this dude a chance to earn his money.

OL Jamain I didn't even look good in practice Stephens, Wille false start Colon, Justin push me back Hartwig, John the 9th pick overall Rienstra, Tom I can't play Ricketts. Good thing Kordell is mobile and durable.

K - Scobee.

Defense:

DE Simms and A. Jones. Two first round busts

NT Not an easy call, Craig Veasey, a former 3rd round pick who started just 5 games in 8 seasons in the NFL.

OLB Bruce Davis. Building a great defense, one player at a time

ILB Huey Richardson. He was never used properly,

ILB Jarvis Jones. He was never used properly either. Some felt he could play inside, so he earns a spot on this team.

OLB Alanzo Jackson. Made 5 total tackles, why not give this former second-round pick a chance?

CB Ricardo Colclough. Someone has to be the goat of the defense, and it might not be this guy.

FS Bo, too slow Orlando. A real head-scratcher of a free agent back in the day.

SS Scott Sheilds, who somehow had a decent rookie season edges out Anothny Smith.

CB Antwon Blake. Blake broke PFF records for yards allowed in coverage (1,074) and missed tackles (28) in a year.

P Berry, just because he made 1.9 million in a season, far more than the other mediocre punters. He'll be very busy on this team

Coach: Tomlin, media nights would be interesting as this would be an 0-16 team.

I would add LB Jason Worilds, WR Dwight "Hands Of" Stone, and from the 80's, CB's Lupe "Dirty" Sanchez and Liffort Hobley (3rd round pick, cut in training camp).

Charred Scott ,Will Blackmail.... a couple more.

So many corners we could put on this team.

Kordell was not the worst QB we started. David Woodley definitely ahead of Kordell, Then there is Scott Campbell, Todd Blackledge, Mark Malone, Jim Miller. All these cats were a lot worse than Kordell.

Sent from my iPhone using Steeler Nation mobile app

While this is true, Woodley did not submarine playoff games. The Woodster was 7-6 as a starter in the mid 1980's, a low point for the team.

Any list without Kordell, Tomlin, Donnell Woolford, Alvoid Mayes and Jarvis Jones needs some work.

LeGarrette Blount over Mendy for me. Dude never should've been a Steeler.

Mike Mitchell always pissed me off. Constantly celebrating tackles after giving up first downs has to be one of my biggest pet peeves watching the NFL.

Morgan Burnett, like Blount, should've never been a Steeler and just bitched his entire short tenure with the team.

Malone started out pretty good but he was never the same after he tore up his knee.

HUGE difference in lists when you say all-time biggest dicks vs all-time busts/chokers.
I know Terry helped bring us 4 in 6 years back in the 70s, and he's sorta kinda apologized and has been welcomed back, but I'll NEVER forgive him for the disparaging remarks he did make, especially about Noll.
And he still backhandedly takes shots at Noll to this day.

Bradshaw isn't anywhere near a bust or choker, but he is FAR AND AWAY the leader in the clubhouse for biggest dick.
I think Antonio Clown is doing his best to challenge for the title, but as it stands now, it's Bradshaw.....IMHO.

Let us not forget Can't Graham.

Kordell was a mediocre QB. He wasn't as terrible as people want to remember him. He couldn't read a defense to save his soul, but he could make throws. (Que Worrm-Burner commens here.) One just never knew if it was the right throw. People forget that he did have the Steeler season completion percentage record before Ben came along... Yep. It's true. While Stewart was not a great QB, it certainly didn't help bringing in one of the most complicated OCs to ever grace the game to try to "revitalize" Stewart's passing game. Kevin "let's take a minute and do some algebra" Gilbride. For a guy like Manning, he probably would have been amazing. For someone like Stewart who every knew wasn't the brightest QB in the league... Throwing gasoline on a grease fire.

As for somebody who really really DID suck... Who was that safety from Idaho that guaranteed a victory over the P*ts before he single-handedly transformed himself into burnt toast. And let's not forget the promise and let down of the great Shamarko Thomas.

Ladarius Green was fantastic in the games he actually played. When he and that Bengal defender cracked their heads together, his career was over. He got no hate from me, just some of that desire for what could've been. Imagine a full season with Ben, Brown, Bell, Bryant, JuJu, and Green all running at full speed.

Hate is a strong word. They didn't burn my house down and shoot my dog. Extreme disappointment list I'd call it. They've all been covered on this list.

I'd rather see an all American great list than wallar in the negative bullshit as we've had way to much with the meMEme twins. Yes the all "BAD" TEAM HAS PRETTY WELL BEEN COVERED

Salute the nation

I would nominate Gabe 'Señor Sack' Rivera. Not because he stunk the place up. He didn't play. But because we wasted the 21st pick of the '83 draft on him when one Daniel Constantine Marino Jr. of Pittsburgh was on the board. Talk about heads exploding. If that had happened in this era, all our connected devices would have melted. How do you watch a Catholic kid like that who Dan Rooney (also a Catholic) referred to as 'Danny' play at Central Catholic for four years, then Pitt for four and not dive on him when he's standing there at 21? How is that possible? Gabe Rivera??!!. That move makes Bell/Brown look genius, no, Nobel Prize for grey matter.

Daniel Constantine Marino Jr. of Pittsburgh was made to be a Steeler. How many Lombardis would be in the case if we had picked Danny? 9? 10? 11?

Like most Yinzers, I was disappointed that they didn't take Marino.
There were a few mitigating factors since I'm old and remember stuff (Marino graduated from Pitt in 1983, I graduated from another local college in 1982)
1. At the time everyone figured Bradshaw had a few years left and he would recover from his elbow injury. He didn't.
2. Statisically Marino's senior year at Pitt was not as good as his junior year, due mostly to the fact that HC Jackie Sherrill left and was replaced by DC Foge Fazio. Foge was a good defensive mind but didn't know jack **** about offense.
3. Rumors that Marino was doing a lot of coke his senior year. May or may not have been true but I have never heard from reliable sources that it was true.
4. Rivera wasn't a bad draft pick and may have been a good addition to the team if he hadn't got drunk and paralyzed himself in a car crash his rookie year. He passed away last year.
5. Mark Malone was Bradshaw's heir apparent drafted in 1980 and may well have been a good QB but he tore up his knee in his second or third season and was never the same after that. The first Mrs. Burgundy worked at a sporting goods store in Cranberry in the 80's and he would come in all the time to buy fishing stuff. She allowed that he was always very nice, although he would normally wear a ballcap and sunglasses so people wouldn't recognize him.

Cliff Stoudt. And I second Kordell. I have never cussed at another player even 10% as much as I cussed at that mfer.
