The all hate Steelers team

One of my salesmen played football for Michigan State. He went to a party after they played Pitt and he saw Marino smoking dope like a beast.

Meh, it was the late-70's to early-80's. Most of us did. I quit smoking weed mostly because I was too poor to afford it.

It sure didn't hinder his ability to fling that football.

No kidding. I guess I also knew a lot of “cokeheads” in the early 80s. I went to Pitt during the Marino years and we never heard anything about this cokehead thing until the draft.

That 2015 draft was wretched. Bud and Jesse James. No wonder we're declining rapidly

James was a serviceable TE, not bad, not great, but he had a tough act to follow (HEEEEATH). McDonald is an upgrade if he can stay healthy though. Durpee another in a long list of busts at LB.

Great blend of old and new, but there's no way you can leave Jarvis off this list, even if you have to replace an ILB. Speaking of which, I think Spence can be seen as a success, really. He had an injury in his rookie preseason that I thought for sure ended his career. He worked his *** off for 2 years to come out of that and ended up a decent backup/rotational guy. He lost some of his quickness, which is why we drafted the undersized dude (same way we drafted Shazier). Started a few for us before we took Shazier and then came off the couch to start a few for us after his injury.

Brown and Bell for being docks but throw in just about every CB/Safety post 70s execpt for Troy, Gay, Woodson, Lake, Haden, Ike, or Hilton. Add in Mark Malone, Jarvis, Ziggy, Fumblehall, Dupree, Wheaton, Wallace, Bryant, and Tomlin

Good list. I would only take issue with Vrabel. He was pretty good but he had some REALLY good players in front of him. Went to the Cheats and was a starter for many years and played a little bit of TE too.

Vrabel was what you want on your team - a football player. He would have been a great Steeler. I think he will be a successful HC as well. Too bad he got away, but glut of LBs - a good problem to have, as we now know.

Ax yourself honestly - who would you prefer leading and developing talent for this team - MV or MT?
