No, I'm Farva. But I can see you don't want to answer. That's cool though......like I said bring it to the right forum so we can continue.

Lol good one..I.don't want to answer??

No I do not make it a practice to call anyone dumb or stupid who I do not know personally..

Your second question. Jive is generally attributed to the black culture but that isn't the whole black culture. Not all black people talk that way. That's like saying all Caucasians say "dude". To me it's especially offensive to say Tomlin is talking jive when he its quite obvious the man has an impressive vocabulary. So no one would be hurt if someone said I "dig" or it was "hip" if that was they talked everyday. If your only using those terms in reference to Tomlin's race that would be a little "dickish" IMO.

And why in the world would you say Tomlin was Rapping at his presser????

"Dude".... I'm a child of the 60's-70's... We used to "rap" all the time. It meant " converse." See how things are taken out of context and people take offense where none is given? Let's drop this or take it elsewhere... I'm sure we're boring others.

Yes we can drop it because we are nowhere on the same page anyway.

Defense did in fact stop them on 3 & 2 while the score was only 17-20 with 6:33 left.....Ben promptly hit jimmy smith on the side line.

Offense failed. They scored only 20....we were averaging 30+.....offense took the day off.

Good thing the offense stepped up when their dominant defense allowed the Cardinals to take the lead in Super Bowl XLIII. Is the subpar unit of the team not permitted to step up when the dominant area is having an off day?

I thought they did they gave the dominant unit the ball back with time to win or tie the game

Subpar probably isn't the best word to describe the Steelers offense during that SB...they ranked 7th in the league. That was a great all around team.

Baltimore's offense scored fewer than 20 points in four of the previous five games.

You get the idea.

The dominant offense got the ball with a chance to win or tie the game what more is there to ask for.

For the defense to not allow a guy signed less than two weeks before playing with a bunch of backups to have a career passing day?

I am definitely not saying they couldn't of played better but they did provide the so called dominant side an opportunity to win the game against the a defense who gave up 34 points the week before

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the formation, they were advertising run, daring them to stop them. And they had nine in the box. I was thinking, if they are going to run , they should have gone with a goal line type play with a full back leading the way.
Then I thought maybe they were going to go play action and pass cause they had single coverage on both receivers. And it would have worked too cause all nine in the box played the run leaving the middle of the field wide open.
But when they ran the play, I was looking for him to bounce it to the outside cause he would have made the first down and more.

I completely agree. This started the slide. And perhaps frustration from Ben.

And I'm fine with that so going by your criteria in every loss he was outcoached. So simple question in the games the Steelers won was Tomlin the superior coach?

Lmao you really are this ridiculous, aren't you? This isnt even trolling 101, cmon.

Are you bored or something? Stillwright put something out there I asked a question? If harbaugh outcoached Tomlin simply because his team won then the obvious conclusion is when the Steelers win Tomlin outcoached the other coach.

To me that is still on everyone. You're playing in the National Football League and a professional football player you should be motivated to get the job done every week.

Point taken though it is also on Tomlin and the coaching staff. And Tomlin deserves the criticism that comes with that, no argument from me on that.

My initial response was to the first post. Ben got discouraged???? Really? I suppose that is on Tomlin too? Players need to be accountable as well. If you're discouraged. pick yourself up and get on with it.

Some people act like this is peewee league where the coach needs to micromanage every little damn thing a player does. Oh Ben's a little discouraged Tomlin better go over give him a hug and give him the remembering Titans speech.

That door swings both ways... So Yeah, if that is what it takes to get a win, then Yes, I expect the head coach to see and understand that. And then act accordingly.
Granted, it shouldn't be needed....
But hey, if what is needed to win games is micromanagement, I damn well expect the head coach to deliver just that....
As you say, this isn't peewee league...
And if we don't need the a 'remember the Titans' speech, then why hire Porter?

I know, I know. This is as much on the players as Tomlin. But even with my body size, I'm struggling to contain the wrath this man brings me.
I swear, his aloofness just brings my blood to a low simmer, and his platitudes crank it the last step, to a roaring boil...

If only he left me with the sense of urgency and wanting... I'm not old enough to remember earlier coaches than the Jaw... And Lord knows he gave me ulcers at times... But at least I had the feeling that he WANTED the wins... No such thing from Tomlin.
