That's as good as it gets with Tomlin

Is it Butler??? Or Tomlin, same defensive approach when DL was here, and at what point in the game does Tomlin step in change the game plan

This defense actually resembles Tomlin's Tampa 2 than LeBeau's zone blitz defense.

With Butler, Tomlin had a lot of say with the scheming of the defense. We need a proven DC that comes in and owns the D. Tomlin has to let the coaches do their jobs.

So who is controlling what? All I would like to know is who in the heck is ultimately responsible for failing to make the in game adjustments that EVERY other team in the NFL seems to make.

This is Tomlin's defense. Should Butler go? Yeah, probably. I didn't like promoting him in the first place, thought we needed some outside blood. But it doesn't matter as long as Tomlin is HC. This is HIS scared, pansy defensive style.

Butler loves to blitz and pressure the QB, even said as much last week, need to come after Brady and make him uncomfortable, then we see that **** show, pretty clear it was Tomlin, the fact we didnt' adjust one bit, tells me even more it was his defense and he wanted it to work. IF that was Butlers plan, I don't think Tomlin would've stuck with it that long.

Absolutely. Tomlin looks bug-eyed and Confused and bewildered on the sideline. This team is undsciplined and immature in their behavior. Look at me!

All the missed arm tackles...this defense doesn't even perform the basic functions like hitting and wrapping up on a tackle.... staying in your position playing a zone defense as a DB.. Yesterday I counted 5 missed arm tackles on one reception by Hogan, who gained 18 instead of a 2 yard gain! Over and over again! Edelman, same thing. The buck stops here, with Tomlin.

Time to just get used to the fact that Mike Tomlin is just another Marvin Lewis.

He shows just enough during the off season that you think he might be getting it, then you see him put up some wins during the year and you get all giddy. Then when the games count or against win less teams, he just plain ***** the bed.

Time for new caches, HC, OC & DC. It will not happen because 'ol man Rooney has selective amnesia.

They just can't beat the Patriots. Hopefully Belichick retires sooner than later. I now can understand how Oilers fans must have felt in the 70s.

How many playoff games has Marvin won......?

I Rest my ****** case

Who was deemed a very good coach by most
By most? Lol, Barry Switzer sucked as an NFL coach and he won a SB with Jimmy Johnson's team. His players hated him as a coach and he was in over his head.

For 16 years Switzer was head coach at Oklahoma, one of the top programs in college football history. He developed the wishbone offense, wininng three national championships.

"In over his head"?

No way. This isn't nuclear physics.

So is Saban a good coach...how did he do in the NFL...?

Im glad you guys aren't GMs or owners man....Cleveland all over again.

Since when does college coaching mean squat in the NFL? Saban, Spurrier, Petrino, Erickson, Davis, and Holtz come to mind. Switzer was along for the ride in Dallas.

I'm sorry, here I was thinking we were talking about the NFL not college. Huge difference.

Mr Tomlin is not going to get us back to the Super Bowl.

We went a step further than last year. He turned this team around. He is not going anywhere after getting us here so why keep bitching. He is our coach it is not changing and we are better off than all but two teams in the league at this point. We have a very spoiled view of what you can expect for success in this league (without cheating). I am embarrassed by some of our reactions to this team sometimes. I for one while upset about once again losing to Belicheat it is no different than under Cowher. The are are cheating Achilles heel.

I seem to recall Cowher beating New England in the playoff with kordell Stewart.

Colbert has give Tomlin what he He needs

The truth is Tomlin is one of the reasons we can't advance.

And in the end this is why m labled a Tomlin lover. Because I will always call bull **** when I read it.. The majority saying he will never lead us back said we wouldn't make the playoffs let alone the AFC championship. Yeah its real easy to discredit what we did this year because the standard in Pittsburgh is the super bowl. But he kept this team together thru injuries and distractions and a 4 game losing streak in the middle of the season. Yeah it's real easy to say he won't get us back but apparently its real hard to say I was wrong be cause most of you saying that didn't even think we would be playing Sunday. That the defense would improve like it did. How much further would Bud be of he played all year. How about no Cam Heyward. Yeah its real easy to say but if it happens he won't receive any credit anyway.
