Chip Kelly sure is changing stuff up.
Chip Kelly sure is changing stuff up.
I'm no Landry Jones fan, but i'd rather him over Barkley. Barkley is small and has no arm. Landry at least has the physical tools to be a starter.
Kelly said he wasn't injured enough for them to sign.
if you think about it, Tebow is a perfect fit for the Eagles. The knock on Chip Kelly's system is that the QB has to run and will get killed over time...well, that's probably not going to happen with Tebow. Dude is a LB playing QB. Also, Kelly is probably just looking at a package for Tebow (short yardage, etc.)
you're saying nothing.I'd take Tebow over Landry Jones. Does Tebow have upside? Not really, but he's a good team guy, and can win if called upon.
Football, politics and religion all in one neat little post.Good. I still wish this kid success, if for no other reason than to simply stick a thumb in the eye of Godless liberals.
I'd take Tebow for the Steelers in a heartbeat if he'd play TE and be the 3rd string QB. Problem is he only wants to play QB.
Good. I still wish this kid success, if for no other reason than to simply stick a thumb in the eye of Godless liberals.
How very Christian of you!
Come on Ron, the kid had no problem playing safety on the punt team for the Jets, Rex just made sure he'd never throw the ball. He's a team player, and will do what he's asked to do.
I believe there is still upside to Tebow. The kid has been working on his mechanics for the past 2 years, and I hope he competes at the FA Combine if he's not picked up before then. If nothing else, it would lend a credible name to the combine and garner interest.
I'm still dumbfounded that a proven winner at QB can get railroaded out of the game while being a model person.
I'm glad to see him get another chance as well. I would have rather had him than Laundry Jones. The kid had the right attitude and could likely have been taught to do what was needed. He seems like a much better choice than Johnny Football. The next-to-last time he set foot on an NFL field as a QB he threw for over 300 yards against the hallowed Dick LeBeau defense and beat us in a playoff game. His mechanics were already pretty good against Ike and Troy. Just sayin'.
