NFL network just reported, torn Achilles, out for season.

Huge blow to their pass rush. Dumervil now much easier to double.

That's probably a career then. Coming back from a torn Achilles at any age is tough, but at his age? Nah

Wow! Still a good D, just not as good....would love to have a player like him on our D. used to...

Injuries the great equalizer

not the player he used to be....but a big loss for the Ravens..

Anybody know the next man up for Suggs?

For some reason I was thinking that was a knee injury ... have to look that up. If so, I wonder if it's the same Achilles.

Yow! Suggs is they guy you love to hate, but would love on your team. He helped make the rivalry fun.

As much as I hate the Rats that's too bad...cuz I like Suggs for his toughness and the way he plays the game.

Headline should read "T-Sizzle....Fizzles out for the 2015 NFL Season"

Do the Rats pick up their RatPhone and place an emergency call to Ray "The Knife" Lewis to take one last stab with the Rats Defense?

Real tough for them. The guy plays better against the Steelers than just about any other defender we face and helps make it a great rivalry. Hope he can make a full recovery.

.

Torn left achilles... same injury from two years ago? He's almost 33 years old... this will be a rough recovery. Bummer for him.

They probably move Dumervil to the ROLB spot and let Upshaw start at LOLB.

Tough loss for the rats

their D seemed to still play well

I think their WR corps is going to let them down this year................

Suggs previously tore his RIGHT achilles in May of 2012 and returned before the end of the season. Just over 5 months as I recall...he was 30 then.

Now reports say he's tore his LEFT achilles and is done for the season. Usually a 6 month recovery after surgery.

Before last season, he signed a 5/28.5 million contract w 16 mil guaranteed.

I can't get amped up when great players get hurt. Just not my thing. Off the field he was ***, on it he was a problem. At his age that's likely a wrap.

Time for Shrek to move on to his life's work. Hope he finds it.

By the way, Shrek won't be 33 until October so he's still young enough to come back. It just depends on how bad his achilles tear is. The last one was reported as a partial tear and he came back in record time. I hope he does come back (he probably won't be 100% until middle of next season at best). PLUS, the Gavens have too much invested in him to let him go. He's only due 4.5 mil next year I think.
