The Gayvens signed the guy I thought we should have signed to play at DE in our sub-package sets.
Ravens signed OLB Jason Babin, formerly of the Jets, to a one-year contract.
Babin, 35, will slide in as the Ravens' fourth outside linebacker and sub-package rusher after Baltimore lost Terrell Suggs to a torn Achilles' in Week 1. Look for rookie Za'Darius Smith and Courtney Upshaw to get the first looks opposite Elvis Dumervil, but Babin should see snaps on passing downs.
