O.K>, and who exactly do you trust anywhere in this organization to draft/find one? It's easy to ***** about it, what exactly is the solution? I don't think he's much more than average either, but someone has to play the position. He may be a turd, but right now he's the best we have and ultimately that is the problem. Our people who evaluate players are ****** at it, other than the occasional hit recently.

I guess I wish we were more capable of finding someone,

Allen may be the best we have, but that shouldn't be the case. And "the best we have" shouldn't guarantee you a contract and starting spot in perpetuity.

I can agree with all that, my frustration is more with the front office and coaches evaluating the players we bring in. Once they're here it's become quite obvious we aren't coaching them up on either side of the ball.
