good point, but I thought it was too much money for a player of his caliber. He hasn't showed anything to warrant an extension. It is almost worth a gamble to draft someone and/or find someone in FA to fill that hole. I think he is terrible, but that's just me.

Teams find Cortez-level or better CBs all the time. You don't overpay the turd you have just because you already have him.
