Steelers VS Indy game thread.

Franchise QB's don't miss guys that open like Pickens in the end zone, period. There's no excuse for it and 1 bad pass can make a difference between a win and loss

I'm cheering for the guy, but he missed badly like that twice last week too.

Hopefully it's mechanics and fixable. Hopefully we have a coach competent enough to help him....
It is a timing throw, he will improve.

Give me a break! You wanna see errattic go back and watch Josh Allen's rookie season in Buffalo! Allen was floating passes over his WR's often and he was deemed a BUST after 1 season. Now the kid is the best QB in the NFL. Pickett has missed some throws but you have to admit he has shown slow and steady improvement week in, week out. I really think he's going to be a special QB in this league.

Sure they do. You see it every week. Franchise guys just don’t miss often.

He’s played well so far. Only two horrible passes by my count, one should have been an easy TD. No real complaints. If the play calls are decent and the oline holds up, he can execute the offense. He’s proving that.
I think at times he is playing conservative not to make a mistake. Just my take.

good thing he still is a rookie, has time to become a franchise QB.

Name me some franchise QBs besides Josh Allen who miss guys that bad even in year 1...I know that Ben guy didnt

Yep. Most of you clowns are way too young to have seen Bradshaw in his first 2 years. His play was so bad at times it was almost impossible to believe he would become good, let alone great.

But here is the thing the Steelers knew and his teammates knew: the guy was fearless, a leader, and absolutely refused to give up. John Kolb used to say that the team had so much confidence in Bradshaw that if he called a QB sneak on 4th and 16, they would be positive they would convert.

Let's see if Kenny has a little of that, or maybe even a lot. He looks soooo much better since the bye.

Loudermilk blocks the FG. Indy is booing. Great play! I really like this kid. Needs more snaps.

Good job!!! Let's go!!!!

Put Coolie in the back with a shovel.

Might be to much weight, wouldn't be able to steer................ He can ride up front for counter weight

Salute the nation

Good half. Playing safe and running the ball. Actually running the ball well!Pickett to Pickens is so close. Pickens is going to be great. Love that guy. I hope he doesn't go all nutjob diva on us later on. But man that guy has some serious God given skills.

Really happy with Pickett. Good decisions. No bone headed stuff. Making some good throws high level throws.

They actually look somewhat balanced so far. I hope the second half looks like the first. Grind it.

Pickett has missed like that 3 times in the last 2 games. I'd call that often

Yes he's young and can get better, but he's not immune to criticism

A little. But not necessarily a bad thing. The alternative is being non conservative and turning the ball over. You Pickett.

Sorry dude. Every QB good and bad miss them every now and then. Just how it is.
