Steelers vs. Bills game day thread

Then why is everyone so happy with the offense? Too much is made out of pre-season when something sucks. The defense was bad last year and so far nothing has changed except scheme. And the new scheme needs work but they aren't playing them much. So that means they are fine going into the regular season with almost no work on their new scheme against other NFL teams. They don't have an easy schedule this year and they aren't playing all their games in the ETZ.

I haven't said anything about the Offense. No need too. What they do now doesn't mean **** when the lights come on. Also some coaches truly believe in not showing their hand in the preseason.
 
You guys are gluttons for punishment. I bailed on this **** at halftime
 
Josh Harris hasn't shown me ****.

I think you get rid of Archer and Harris and bring in a RB..................
 
yeah if the Steelers don't keep Berry someone will pick him up....

Didn't you talk about the blitz combos early in the game? Also the Tampa 2 isn't some super secret scheme. Everybody knows it. So there is no reason to hide it. The players need experience playing it.

yeah I think that D is going to look painful early..... I think you almost have to sit Shamarko, the weakest link.....

Yes I did but I doubt that's all they have up their sleeves. Just noticed cause it's been consistent over the three games. CBs and safeties blitzing with the OLB looping in towards the guard.

Preseason is the best indicator of the depth or dearth of talent on the team.

Some see the glass half empty, others see a glass half full.

The Jarvis Jones experiment is OVER. He's either so soft that he can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Or he's too stupid to understand what's going on.

He needs to be cut.

I've seen that. But the scheme isn't what they have up their sleeves. The scheme is not a secret. He may have a few more plays that he isn't showing. However no play or handful of plays is going to make Jones a better pass rusher. It isn't going to make the DL better.

I think the plan is for Ben, AB, Bell and others will play more than just half of the 1st quarter in the regular season games.
