Steelers vs. Bills game day thread

Not that it would have mattered much. How was the Bills completion not overturned . The receiver bobbled the ball twice clearly with the 2nd bobble definitely being out. You can't see that in a review ?. What is this, the Mickey Mouse referee league.

I wondered that as well. The announcers (Who were Buffalo announcers on my broadcast) said there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it. Stevie Wonder could have seen those bobbles.
 
So far I am not seeing that Butler is some sort of D guru

we shall see early yet.............

i don't think Butler is calling the shots. He may be calling the plays but this is Tomlin's plan for the defense by trying to use Tampa 2 which is the only defense Tomlin understands. Let's not forget, Tomlin played WR in college, then coached DBs for a few years and 1 year as a defensive coordinator. He is not an experienced defensive coach.

The steeler defense became a mess because Tomlin continues to draft front 7 players who are better suited in a Tampa 2 than a 3-4. His DB picks have been awful. It seems they changed a few years ago and drafted Heyward and Tuitt who do fit a 3-4, but now they want them one gapping and playing a more Tampa 2 style?

If you are going to have your DL one gap, then that means your LBs won't be clean. They will have to fight off blocks. Shazier sucks at that. Timmons isn't great at it either.

Yep I fear we may be robbing peter to pay paul on that one... Heyward gets double teamed too much right now too... they need at least one other dlineman or lb to require that
