Lots of speculation about the Steelers motives. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I think it's best to wait and hear what Coach has to say first.

Ben was a couple of years younger though if my memory is correct.
 
1 year for $3 million is a huge bargain if he is going to be the starter and I would have to think he is if healthy. Possibly some incentives in there I guess but who knows. He's definitely looking to prove he's healthy and get that one last big contract.

i heard he got a $2 mill signing bonus, too. Still a good bargain.
