Steelers hiring McCarthy

Or, we could do SN.com UFC (Unqualified effing C$^&s) at the draft....it could be one of the innovative new draft weekend features!

Justin could get a cage set up outdoors somewhere, and then just get the matches setup. Hell there could even be a whole "assshats from Florida" division.

Lunar and JMM can do the tunes and entertainment, Coolie could call the fights and DIC could do color commentary and give all the winners a ride in his fancy vehicle. ICS would be in charge of the ring girls, of course. Supe could help him when he wasn't needing to hold warhammer's leash.

A few of us less talented folks could run a couple bbqs and keep the beers cold, and we'd need Burgundy nearby in case it didn't end well for anyone.

That's a deep passion for something you can only get from something you grew up with. He grew up with the 70's Steelers. It's home. That's a really deep connection. Just like many of us.

I'm happy for him. I am certain we will get his absolute best. He certainly has the opportunity to be a hometown hero. Just like Cowher.
 
Can't help but like the guy. As long as he gets our Long Term QB and gets them on the right path, whether its Howard or in the draft, he's succeeded.

From a passion standpoint if you get your dream job you will probably give it your best try. Go above and beyond..So a positive.
 
He was probably the kid with the steelers "Tote Bag" in school with the Steelers Tossle cap and Pleather sleeved Steelers Jacket.

I would have but my mum wasnt putting that kind of money into my school clothes. We went to murphy mart.

I wanted a Steelers lunch box I ended up getting this workman type grey lunchbox. Other kids got ones with Hulk and a thermos inside, etc.

I was pissed. 😅

His apparent passion for the Steelers' job, as well as Sean Payton's success with the Broncos, gives me some hope this could turn out a lot better than assumed.

You were fortunate to get one of those metal mailboxes.
It was a pipe dream for us kids my family. Our lunchboxes were brown and made out of paper..

my mum had no time to be packing a lunch,, we just got school lunch, they were so cheap. I always wanted one of those cool lunch boxes too. I swear i wore a hand me down tossle cap that was yellow and blue,, i think my aunt made it. It was a hand me down. Tough skin jeans that you had to walk stiff legged because the knees were so reinforced... smh

Oh definitely disliked the clothes. He was military so I got these god awful looking collared shirts.

But you know as was mentioned it could have been worse..
