Yes. Tomlin by his own choice. McDermott still has a chance, as there are openings. Ultimately, if these coaches are truly worth it, they won’t be out of work for a year, one of the teams in need will snatch them up; the same process that happens in the standard working world. Superstars are never without work, unless it’s by choice.
