I wouldn't be shocked if this means they take a QB now in that 1-3 rd range now that they have the extra 3rd.

I vote we go all in and trade every pick for a COACH

The last time we had a COMP pick in the 3rd round...it blew up the board and ended in 167 pages...

And that was the SHORT version.................

That would make a good pick and story behind it all. Pitt Panther/cancer beater turned Steeler.

O.o

I like the option, probably a little high for the pick considering the risk.

I'd love to see our top 4 picks be EDGE, CB, SS and then a 6'-4" (or taller) TE or WR with good hands. I don't want another draft pick that has questionable hands. Both Bryant and Coates came with that label and have lived up to it so far.

1 OLB/S Peppers, will finally bring that playmaking ability we have been lacking since Troy started to decline in 2012. Peppers Shazier, Dupree that is a solid young core to build the LB corps.
2 DT/DE DALVIN TOMLINSON, need more size and fresh bodies so that Cam @ Tiott don't have to play 80% of the D reps. You get size and versatility that can you give options to go 4-2-5.
3 OLB ryan Anderson will allow you to have 2 solid rushers on the edge that all force OT's to kick wide and can allow you bring in a db or a ilb via that gap that will open when you have Dupree and Harrison coming from the edges you also send a Shazier or Anderson lined at mlb to come a cross
4 best available WR/ CB

What's the chances we use this comp picks to trade for Tyrrell Pryor?

Browns will probably transition him since he is a free agent..

I think this "hometown" kid is ready to emerge as one of the better playmakers in the league, and would shine in a Steelers uni..

I also have heard that he has been seen in several downtown establishments recently with his agent...

Just to clarify, there is no compensation for transition tagged players.
