Steelers brought in ex Giants LB coach to work with the defense this week.

I expect them to keep it just close enough to give some false hope only to be crushed in the waning moments, likely on a questionable non catch that is ruled a catch for the Pats.

This season has all the makings of another Tomlin masterpiece at 8-7-1, once again not having a losing season. He'll keep his job just long enough to waste away Ben's remaining years as an offense filled with pro bowlers watches other teams rack up the post season wins.

Awesome

I am guessing that this guy was being brought in just to motivate the D as he was part of NYG Teams that beat the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl.

In fact, the check was probably written last year prior to our brief playoff participation. We are finally getting what we paid for......

I just realized I became a Ball Boy. I must of greased up Tom Shady's before the game in the bathroom. :logo:

Burns was on the other side of the field. Nothing to do with him. I'm not sure why he was in there in the first place. From what Tomlin said he got scared by the communication on the TD so he went with the veteran Sensabaugh.

Burns has sucked this year, but he did not blow the long Hogan pass.

In the shot I see, it looks like he was Haden's guy originally. Not sure what happened but a complete breakdown for sure.

Yeah I heard that too, but did you also hear Tomlin say "I was late getting the communication or call in", can't remember exactly how it was phrased.
So Tomlin is calling the defense then?

Beat me to it

I was wrong, we do have a playmaker on D, Joe Haden has hands

Sign more FAs, lol

Was gonna say, he's the one guy that someone else drafted.

The defense gets pressure. You would think by the mere volume of pressure that you would get more passes going high and right to the safeties. I realize the ball still has to get caught but even the odd gimme. They have six picks for the season. There are games where a qb will throw three or even four. It's almost unbelievable how bad the takeaway margin has been.

I hear what you are saying but last night lord t*mmy b*y was affected by the pressure. Maybe not a lot of interceptions but he was definately affected.

Salute the nation

Heard at some point during the week in a LBers meeting. What's that called again, Jim? Double-team? That might just work!
