Why would i call anyone stupid? The deal didn't get done. Ive said all along i can see both sides of the equation. Not just one. Like Litos said in the other thread there aee reports saying the only guaranteed money was 10 million on the signing bonus. Up to 33 if he was on roster the next two years. For a player who touches the ball 400 times a year i can see where thats an issue. He could be injured and never see that money. So again the Steelers did what they do as an orginazation and Bell had ther right to turn it down and take his chances on the open market next year.
