Rumors out there IF Vrabel steps down

I certainly don't condone it, but I certainly don't care what these people do in public either. Is it an ethics thing? Is it really? Did Kraft have to sell the team for soliciting prostitution? How about Deflategate? Spygate? No? How about when the Patriots contracted with Brady's company TB12 while claiming to restructure his contracts to save the cheaters 60M; Did Kraft sell the team or was he even questioned about it? If you want blurred lines of ethics, how is Tom allowed to be a national broadcaster and partial owner of a team? Sure, he can't attend in-person meetings or practices but he's still privy to the details (intel) of the material.

But Vrabel should step down for holding hands and smooching on a reporter at a private resort? Seems like the NFL has let a lot of things slide or at the very most, handed down hand slaps for greater transgressions that tarnished the shield than what Vrabel did.
There is no question that Vrabel’s actions are not at the top of the list. I don’t know what’s going on between him, his wife and children right now but he not only violated their trust and faith in him as a husband and father, he did in a way that exposed it publicly and embarrassed his family, his wife’s immediate family, his children in their social circle.

Ethics aside (which is not a trivial matter), he publicly disgraced his relationship with his family. He was frigging stupid beyond words, spending an immense amount of time away from his family during the upcoming season isn’t going to help matters.

If he steps down it will be because his wife is demanding it, not cause tge cheats are mad at a cheater... Billy B was openly cheating his whole time there.. and not just stealing plays... most coaches are unfaithful dicks... the Blue Mountain state stereotype didnt materialize out of nowhere...

I guess kinda like Mike T did. Just no pictures.

It's been 10 minutes.

Just going by what I’ve-read of the trailer court Girl’s public bulletin board, that about 8 1/2 minutes longer than Coolies record for pump - N - dump…… fastest $125.00 they’ve ever made…..……..

Salute the nation

Pats are a cheating based organization. They won't do anything. Zero players care about this. If anything, some of them probably like Vrabel more.

It would be wild hiring Tomlin who has some rumors of his own

I’ve been reading some stories if Pats HC Vrabel steps down, Kraft likely interested in drumroll, Mike Tomlin.
That would be interesting and there would be premium return if this comes to fruition.
Just rumors right now but one never knows.
Tomlin could find himself in a situation similar to 2007 here.
Do these stories have any basis in reality or are they just connecting two dots that are on opposite sides of the world for clicks?

I pay them in rotisserie chickens

I don’t buy for a second that the Krafts want Tomlin’s stupid ***. There’s plenty of footage that exists that shows Tomlin’s looking absolutely clueless on the sideline as Brady and Belichick owned us into a hole over a 15 year period. Truth be told, the only way Tomlin could beat the Patriots would be by joining the team.

Tomlin won’t coach again.

He won’t give up that never had a losing season mystic around him

What you may be missing is this is 2026 and the woman in question, Russini had to step down from her job. If the woman had to step down, why should the man in question go scott free? That isn't me saying that, but the climate we are in. If anything gets him, that will.

Journalistic integrity is still an unwritten code that governs the industry. The optics read something like this. Russini got romantically involved with a subject, was a part of the dissolution of that marriage and possibly, her own. The home wrecker part multiplies the offense. At ESPN, the higher ups cared. I’m not certain the Kraft family takes that stance on it. Plus, Vrabs is on a heater.

I think there is a lot of truth that sports can bring out the best in people. On an amateur level, on a high school-teenage level, even competiting for fun with friends as an adult, it an important part of life and a benefit for 90% of the population that participate.

On a professional level (and high end college is now professional), sports makes terrible human beings. Particullarly with the money that is in the game, say the last 30-40 years.

I'm not saying ALL, but I think 90% of professional athletes, coaches, high-end college talent, high-end college coaches, AD's are just bad people. Not worthy at all of our admiration or affection. And when I say bad people, I just mean bad moral compasses. The game they play (not between the lines) to stay in the "elite" world is just a dirty, dirty place to be.

And when your professional moral compass is off, most of the time your personal moral compass gets all twisted as well.

Why people admire these guys is beyond me. Athletes are the WORST examples of people. All you see is a PR fabrication they want you to see. It's all smoke and mirror hiding a dark, dark business.

Sherrone Moore is available.

just putting that out there

Then let's hope he steps down
