Roster cuts tracker: Teams trim to 53-player rosters

It sounds like all the early cuts that are eligible for the practice squad are getting offers if they clear...
 
I bet they will try to sign Hagan to the PS. High motor guy....always around the ball, and loves to hit.

You know our FO had three or four people who were double-checking the spelling and comparing that to rosters and pictures.
 
I thought with Bell holding out they'd keep an extra RB for the first few weeks at least. But looks like Bell, Conner, and Watson with Nix holding onto the FB position. Maybe that means Ayers makes the team now. AB, Bryant, Rogers, JuJu, Coates, Ayers?? Honestly, I would be fine with AB, Bryant, Rogers, JuJu and Ayers. I don't think Coates brings much to the team.

At this point I think I would keep for CB Haden, Burns, Hilton, Allen, Cockrell, and either Golson or Sensabaugh and IR with return Sutton. That way if you keep Golson and actually get him on the field to see how he actually can play and if he sucks bring back Gay or Sensabaugh until Sutton is healthy. If you just want to move on from Golson keep Sensabaugh and move forward. I figure the #6 CB you could take a fly on Golson who is FINALLY healthy and just give him until Sutton can come back to stick on the roster. If Golson looks good and everyone is healthy when Sutton has to come back just IR him for the year.

AND don't start the didn't use him right / look good in black and gold........bullshit as he is done and the fork has been stuck.

There hasn't been one cut I'd be remotely interested in so far. Johnson, Osweiler, Cruz, Ridley I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Maybe a 3:00 Saturday name might peak my interest but nothing getting cut before then.

yeah i wouldn't be surprised if Johnson hangs 'em up at this point, not sure he really has much to offer anymore.
 
Demarcus Ayers was cut today according to Jeremy Fowler. Hopefully Markus Tucker makes the team.
 
TJ Ward would be nice but I don't see us having the money to get a guy like him after snagging Haden

Ward would be the ultimate get at this point. Forgot he played with Haden a few years ago, that could help entice him. Not sure what's up with Mike Mitchell exactly, but this would be A+ insurance for those safety spots.
 
Very good discussion about Ward. Who will be the casualty for him to be signed..
