If it's true all I can say is good riddance. Nothing againt Toussant personally, don't know much about him. Other than the fact he was a pedestrian, middling, C+ running back and D- kick returner. Not sure why he stuck around as long as he did, he really didn't do anything that stood out. If you lined up all the RB's in the NFL, he'd be waaaaaay down on the list as far as having redeeming qualities.

That's what I love about Terrell Watson. This dude came in, stuck his head down, and just got to work. He put more hits on Panthers DB's yesterday than Toussant has his whole career. Of course they're different players, but Watson at least has some highly distinguishable qualities to his play and his demeanor. Perfect fit in Steeltown.

Eerie coincidence that Connor has a similar, punch you in the throat style. These Steeler RB's can really put pressure on defenses for the rare times Bell will come off the field. I love that, and adds a new dimension to this offense.

And let's not forget, Watson was putting the hurt on Carolina's starting defense last night. Those weren't third string nobodies out there. That was really friggin impressive. Watson and Connor can be a great tag-team beating up defenses, God forbid we build up leads in games and want to sit on the ball a little.

Liking our running back corp. A Tomlinism come true...it's a five star match-up if we're in it.

Leveon Bell, Terrell Watson and James Connor. Rosie Nix up front to bang heads. If we can get this running game firing behind Pouncey and crew, it will make the passing game nearly unstoppable.

Again, congrats to the kid from Azusa Pacific. We have a 2017 version of Christian Okoye in our backfield. Love this.

OK - they cut Glenn Gronkowski, FB. Had me going and wondering if Gronk would look good in Black and Gold. He'd be head and shoulders above anything we have at TE and we would at least be able to cover him if he was on our team.

Alex Carter who I think it is out of Stanford? Dude was a top CB in the 2015 draft. Can he play a little free safety? Maybe he's got a bum ankle or knee.

You can't be serious you thought the Pats cut Gronk. Asking for a buddy who sells fridges to eskimos. ;)

Look, I didn't post the original post and couldn't believe it until I checked it out and found out it was (apparently) Gronk's brother.
 
Here's a list of Steelers cuts thus far: *RB Fitz Toussaint *RB Knile Davis *S Jacob Hagen *C Ruben Carter *LB Matt Galambos Long way to go before trimming the roster to 53.
