Rodgers Signing with Black n’ Gold

There isn’t one available, so save the money, roll with Rudolph and plan from r next year.
Is Rodgers better than Rudolph? It can be argued that he might be, but is the juice worth the squeeze? I would say no. What do you do next year if no one is available then?

Haven’t you heard………………… some say Rodgers can play three more years…………..

EXCELLENT post Steelmann, appreciate you.

There is a lot that makes sense with the Aaaa-Ron signing. I’m hoping for the best.

The Tomlin is going to have to make some changes to accommodate Rodgers and maybe that action will slide a little into the defense as well. Tomlin has acknowledged change is needed, let’s see how far he will go.

Thanks again for the great post(s).

What's so great about it? Rodgers was not the "beat and cheapest choice," he was the only option left.

Fans are allowed to love him or love the signing but can't conveniently ignore that he is a wack job who rolls his WR under the bus and always wants to run his mouth.

He is a self-centered man-child who thinks the game revolves around him. Is it possible that he produces this year? Absolutely. But I find it much more likely that he doesn't make it to the Baltimore games.

And to the person who insists I have a personal issue with him, I've never met Aaron Rodgers. I judge him by his actions as the leader of football teams and his public actions and statements. I didn't love Ben and he created his share of drama but he usually got the job done. Rodgers is a putz who throws his hands up when a play goes wrong and blames his WR to the media. That's a deal breaker for me. He is not a capable leader.

And it dills my pickle to watch other organizations more committed to championships while this ain't got the sense God gave a goose

Kind of where I'm at. I think Rodgers is still better than Rudolph, not by a huge margin, but where does that get us? He gives us no shot at winning a Super Bowl, he's not the QB of the future, he puts us right in the mid 20's come draft time again, our defense is a year older and they got killed in the playoffs and when we played KC, Philly, Balt in the regular season. I can appreciate never fully given up on a season, but part of me feels like Tomlin is being a bit selfish here wanting to coach Rodgers, but there were a ton in media and alot of fans saying that keeping Ben that final season was setting our franchise back by not trying to find the next QB, how is this any different?
We'd have been better off just starting Howard and see if there's anything there.
Now we are just good enough to sneak in playoffs, but no shot vs the good teams.

Like I've said a thousand times already, as long as Tomlin is here, it's going to be ground hogs day around here, so no real reason to even get excited anymore.

Rodgers threw the ball ......a bunch last season.
You are gonna complain about him throwing it too much? If his stats are good whats the issue?
Who would you rather have? Rudolph? Pickett? Fields?

Nobody in their right mind could build a remotely sane case that Rudolph is the superior passer, I don't care if Rodgers is 50
Save the money, he's playing basically for free, Signing Rodgers has zero effect on the rookie QB market. It is what it is.
If Rodgers plays well sign him again.

Guy is a multiple MVP winner, superbowl champion and will go down as one of the greatest to ever do it.
I understand you didn't like the fact that he wouldn't play sheep for the media. In hindsight he was accurate, thats why the media and people like you can't stand him.
Its a free country he can say what he wants, and you are free to take you're 9th booster.

Wonder if Rodgers will ho into the HOF as a Steeler
