Tuesday, NFL Network Insider, Ian Rapoport reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers exercised their fifth-year option for safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick was traded to the Steelers in 2019 from the Miami Dolphins and has become one of the league’s best safeties ever since. He’s made the Pro Bowl and was named First-Team All-Pro the last two seasons.
Fitzpatrick’s $10.612 million salary for 2022 is now fully guaranteed.
More to come.
