Rams Color Rush type outfit in our future?

I dunno if anyone is following but every Thursday night game next year will supposedly feature single colored pants/jerseys in the matchup. Perhaps you remember the Jets/Bills colorblind fest from earlier this season? Anyways is something like this in our future? The all Yellow?

Obviously other getups for us would be black on black or white on white.

There's always the chance they'll end the promo, but at one point I read it was applying go every game next season.

Black on black would be insanely cool

I'd dig an all-gold uni, as long as they maintained proper sleeve and pant-leg stripes/piping. No thanks to all-black, it's too played out, quite frankly I don't ever want to see the Steelers running around in black pants

I hope (and believe) the Rooneys would refuse to mess with our uniforms. The throwbacks are a different story as they are historical replicas.

I hate all of it; bucking tradition in this way sucks, and our throw backs are the ugliest unis ever worn in the NFL - just terrible. They should throw back to 70's unis with block #s. Anything else sucks.

mustard vs ketchup

Our throwbacks might be ugly but they honor tradition since they attempt to replicate the uniforms that were actually worn in the '30s.

Here's my issue with the color rush.

#1) we've always gotten **** on and denied by the NFL to wear our road golds during the warm months (since warm weather teams force us to wear our home blacks in Sept/Oct). Rooney unsuccessfully petitioned a proposal to allow us to wear gold if a warm weather team forced us into it. Now they're going to allow this gold vomit bullshit? Sorry, I'm not buying it.

#2) When I flip the channels on Thursday night, if I go quick, it just looks like a MAC conference college football game on TV. Busch league if you ask me. I like throwbacks, and altering unis, but forcing teams into something that is not traditional and deviates from the brand, is not appetizing to me.

If it makes them tackle better i am all for it. If not, then leave it the **** alone. It's not some fashion show. It's football.

We've typically played Baltimore in Baltimore on Thursday so if the Ravens do all purple, I'm not sure if us in all black would really work(too similar) If they do all black, obviously we can't, so our other options would be all white(ala the cowboys on Thanksgiving) or the Gold on Gold.

This is the NFL and they send their teams out looking like a bunch of clowns wearing these uniforms. Since the Steelers will be forced into it next year, I hope they go all white or all gold, no desire to look like the damn Ravens and wear all black.

Road golds?

I have no idea what you're talking about.
