This is all about selling merch. no matter what they try to say. Hopefully no one is buying these and they go back to the drawing board.
 
Why they can't they just leave the uniforms alone? Throwbacks I get and I'm ok with. But these color rush unis are an eye sore to say the least. A marketing ploy is all this is. Another money maker for the NFL as you'll see these jerseys in stores, stadiums, and online.
 
It's all horse **** in my opinion. Don't care for the throwbacks and despise the color rush crap, but if we are backed into the corner I say white on white.

I do like the all white unis. I forgot that they wore them. You know we will go all gold/yellow if we have to participate in this TNF b.s. One game, I'll survive, but the game will be painful to watch. Us in all yellow and the Bungals in all orange. Carrots and bananas running wild on your TV. . . yikes.
 
Most teams don't have the level of tradition that we do, so they have to create something. This is what the great minds of the NFL came up with. Idiots.
 
NFL owners should be ashamed to allow these uniforms in a NFL game. Want to be college or Canadian football or even high school then OK, these are awful.

I think it has to do with attracting kids to the NFL. Kids love the Oregoning of uniforms.
 
I think it is even more offensive when the college teams wear their alternative uni's and helmets..

Just hate it...being a traditionalists and all...

I dig it. The jets' chrome green unis looked cool as hell.

Well then what about the black and gold stripes on the jerseys?

I think you need to maintain some semblance of the standard uniform. College teams go too far when you can't tell what teams are playing because the uniforms are so drastically different.
 
Wow there's so much animosity for a one game thing.. It's not like they are asking the team to permanently alter their whole brand
