Question about Hargrave with Heyward out

I noticed Hargrave is starting to make plays...splash plays even.

Someone here and an announcer both said with Heyward out, Hargraves is put in position to make plays now.

So, does that mean JH is playing some DE now, with CH out? Regardless, I like what I am seeing: a 3rd-rounder making plays on the DL. It is much needed.

Now, the question is, if he is indeed the real goods at DE, do we try to play him more there instead of him playing NT? And what alignment are they using when he makes plays? 3-4? 4-3? Nickel hybrid? What?

we better move to a 4-3, Dupree-Heyward-Hargrave-Tuitt. That's heavy there

People are STILL talking about this bend + break defense?

Nothing has changed, Ben still needs to score 30 points a game to win.

We did just play against two ****** Oline.

yeah, but I worry he has to start scoring 36, especially when playing away, where the O stalls regularly

I worry Tomlin is running the wheels off Bell. Slamming him up the gut 30 times a game and hoping he finds a hole is some gameplan.

gameplan has been below the neck, if you will.

Hope they start using the TEs way more

Actually, this is off topic. I was asking what is the difference in JH play since CH is out.

he's playing against the browns and the colts. Big difference there, he's still a rookie

JH was a small school standout who can get after it. I actually think he best position would be DE..............

While that my be true, I didn't no that the Giants had 8 sacks last Sunday or the previous teams that played that same ****** line. and I guess, I missed the part were the Giants completely dominated them. that game was close most of the game.

Game is winnable , but will have to be a highly executed game plan from coaching and players.

I don't think the Giants are Dallas. So with some focus, and motivation it should be winnable.

I already told U - it doesn't make a spit of difference

Cam was good for 1 or 2 good plays a game and his replacement is doing the same - this defense won't win any games for us. At best they can keep the scores under 30.

This D looks pretty ok vs winless teams and backup QBs playing behind a replacements O line, can we just play teams like that every week?

His season high carries in a game is 28, he has had about as many games with under 20 carries as he has with 20+ carries.

I saw they were moving him around in 0, 1, and 3 tech, but I didn't see if he was playing 3 tech with 2 DL or if Big Dan was the 0. Did anyone else notice if Big Dan and Grave Digger were on the field at the same time?

That's because we can't win from behind running the ball, easier games now, he'll run him.

As soon as number 34 is back...Bell will get reduced reps...

Until then....make him try to earn that 15 mil

And to stay on topic...

As I mentioned when Heyward first was reported as out...

Hargrave will get the chance to play his natural position...

He is about as much as a nose tackle as Steve McClendon was..

Our game was a one score game late in the 4th vs Cleveland too.

Kid isn't a nose and is miscast there. He penetrates and disrupts. Waste of time at nose taking on double teams. Next year he should strictly become part of the DE rotation.

Hargrave is playing MUCH better, but I have to honestly wonder, was it because the Browns and Colts OL is bad? Was it because they were down too many points to run the ball at him?

We shall see. My hunch is he has come into his own a bit, but will always be better as a pass rusher than run defender.

add a fast athlethic ROLB perhaps Feeney could be the guy is as about almost as fast as Shazier a front 4 of DE Dupee DT Hargrave DT Tuitt DE Heyward OLB Shazier MLB Williams OLB Feeney/rookie
