Pryor??

Marshall will have many suitors (Giants, Pats, Ravens etc) Doubt he signs here.

Colbert stated he wants a legit #2 to compliment AB. Doubt that receiver is on the roster right now, so depending their target price, it's a possibility. AB and BM have already had competitions for TDs and yards. Could you imagine it if they were on the same team? Could be healthy or very bad. Interesting to say the least.

at 4-5 mil/yr I would take Marshall. What is Baltimore sign Torrey Smith and releases Mike Wallace?? Would you guys be willing to bring Wallace back?

Why would Baltimore release Wallace when he had a good year for them?

that sounds like a good plan but isn't it more helpful to get a CB with that money? a TE or WR in the draft would be more of a plug & play player than a CB

Its fake news on the WR but you bring up a good point. In my opinion they need to focus more on the defense. No way in hell they will get a whiff of the SB with a repeat of the defensive performance we witnessed last year. Miss the old days when they were just f'n dominant and their talent was so deep that James Harrison couldn't make the cut...

This aint your grandpa's NFL. This is Roger's NFL.

Some perspective:
In 2001, the STeelers allowed 13.3 ppg to finish 3rd in ppg. The 3rd best D in 2016 was 5 more ppg than back in 2001 at 18.3 (*'s were best at 15.6, but they cheat, 2nd best was NYG at 17.8). The Steelers 2016 D finished 11th, which sounds way bad. For more perspective, the Steelers 11th ranked D allowed only 2.1 more ppg more than Seattle which was in third place. in 2001, the ppg difference between 3rd and 11th was 4.8ppg.

We need to spend on the secondary add a decent ilb. Dre Kirpatrick Revis and sign a vet lb that can play both outside and inside.

I would sign Marshal at 9/10 million for 2 years. And I'd let Ladarius Green walk. And then I'd draft a TE to help Jesse James.

Brown, Bryant, Marshall, Bell, James, and the X factors would be hard to stop.

How soon we forget ...

You all laughed at me two years ago when the Raiders cut him and I said why not bring him into camp and try him at WR or TE.

Some are still laughing,.............BUT for different reasons................................ J/K

If Bryant can stay away from the weed...he is definitely the #2...

no to wallace and pryor is not going to be worth what he will end up receiving....

Marshall wants to be here and if he can be had for the right price.....give it a shot.

but Ayers will take over the #2 spot soon.......

Ha, its definitely not my grandpas NFL. Not sure it existed when they were alive. :) Its not even my NFL any longer. Might be why I typically no longer watch the pros unless the Steelers are playing or its an interesting playoff game.

Thanks for the perspective. I wonder what our ppg was back when they were the number 1 D several times back in the 90s. If you had a stifling defense these days with an offense just good enough to put up 9-14 points (because they had to put all the cap money on the D) can they win in today's NFL?

Marshall just signed with the Giabts

Ayers is not ever taking the #2 spot. He was fortunate to be on the field with the injuries and Bryant being suspended. We need a better option behind Bryant and ahead of Coates for Ben at WR.

sorry, you are correct...Ayers will be #1 and AB will be #2......

Don't be surprised if Wheaton is back on a short-term contract. He is way down the receiver free agent ratings.

Too rich for us I guess

Giants signed WR Brandon Marshall to a two-year, $12 million contract.

Better than the Ravens

Receivers are flying off the free agent board. There's not much going to be left better than Wheaton soon. Maybe Justin Hunter for a look or Kendall Wright. But **** even Kenny Britt looks to be in demand.
