Predictions on Vicks Stat line Thursday

Hoping a short week as QB1 in practice gets him to look better than his relief appearence. I will take this guess....

13-20 170 1TD 1INT
 
215 yards passing, 30 yards rushing, 2 TD's (throwing and/or running), no turnovers
 
He went 5-6 for 38 yards...

So if you plot that out over a game and give him 20 throws...

17 for 20 for 108 yards...

Let's hope there are no ints in there. And further, let's hope that's enough to keep the defense honest.
 
As the game goes further along, he'll settle in fine. Id like to see us go 4 or 5 wide and empty backfield and see what he can do. He can still do damage if he gets by the first wave of defenders.

Im not concerned at all.....hell if we go 5-1 in Bens absence and eventually go 12-4 or 13-3 after Ben returns,Tomlin will earn COY nominations. And theres some folks here that "aint gon' like that ****...."
 
Just get a win this week. Then you have time to work on plays long term.

The Ravens's are going to load up the line of scrimmage to stop the run first and blitz like every play no doubt. Vick's going to have to throw some passes.

28 of 38 for 280 yards. 70 yards rushing 1 passing & 1 rushing TD.

13-25, 240 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT and 1 fumble. I'd say maybe 20 yards rushing. The Rats are garbage, respect for a division rival is alright, but they are winless for a reason. Not if, but when they start the game with eight/nine in the box we need to throw and take our chances. If he can't hit open receivers he needs to go, and we have one WR for sure who is basically un-guardable so he will get open Thursday too.

That's pretty close to my guess as well, wouldn't be surprised to see a rushing TD in there somewhere on a bootleg roll-out from 17-20 yds out.
 
Wildcat! Would be nice to have a package with Dri as the jet sweep man with the direct snap going to LeVeon Bell. Vick will have at least 1 sack fumble and 1 int. Less than 200 yards passing. It's his first game in a short week, got to be realistic about this. Numbers will improve once Bryant is back on the field.
 
I got nothin'. Can't even hazard a guess. Could be good. Could be a dumpster fire.
 
Predictions:

If Vick throws it 38+ times, we lose

Passing. 14 for 32 221 yards. 1 TD, 1 INT
Rushing 4 for 20 yards.

***One thing I noticed is Vick is a small guy and defensive players go after him with bad intentions. ***
