I agree with Steelz that the Rats will stack the box to start the game. Haley better have a lot of passing plays dialed up. Just like Vicks first throw as a Steeler, don't be afraid to throw long.

Vick has played for the Ravens OC with the Eagles and the Jets. From what I remember on Vick, he can hurt you from the pocket, and can hurt you running right but not left. Ravens will try to contain him and force him to play to his weakness. The key to victory will be our offensive line play. Vick tends to hold the ball longer than Ben but has a quicker release.

Well lets be honest with ourselves. First off, the defense is going to have to play a AAA game. No one wins against a team like the Ravens with a backup QB without a very good defensive performance. I'd say they have to produce at least two turnovers. Vicks stat line to win should be no more than one turnover. Probably 175 yards or so. He needs to make a couple key deep throws with the box heavy against the run. I'd like to see Coates in this game. It will be about a couple explosion plays and I think he can high point one or two. But it seems like the coaching staff is more comfortable with DHB. C'mon Mike. Even my dog is cheering for ya

For the first home preseason game when Vick was acquired, I immediately walked up and asked for a #7 Mexico jersey. They already got the league memo, and refused my order. Bums...
Got an authentic tackle twill Eagles' 3rd jersey to rouse my friends (for $20). Many of them had the same problems Steelers fans had 6 years ago, and hated it when I'd show up to their Eagles parties wearing it.
I also have an authentic McNabb (Green), Westbrook (White), and Celek (throwback Kelly green I won in a raffle for $2). I did signings for McNabb and Westbrook since they represented Sierra Mist and SoBe Lifewater at the time.

This is not the Raven's defense you're all used to seeing. Gone are Ray Lewis, Nata, Suggs, McPhee, Reed. I think we can hang up some points on this defense but what concerns me is Vick's past issues with fumbling. We cannot turn the ball over and that's been one of his problems. The guy still has a cannon arm and can still run but he has got to protect the ball. I expect a lot of short passes to Bell and Miller and hopefully Williams. We need to establish some kind of running game. His passing stats should be very conservative. 12-20 150 yards, 2 TD 1 Int.

We need a game plan of running the ball, some play action ( Vick throws a good deep ball ) and some screens passes. Easy to complete types with Bell or Brown getting the RAC yardage. Mix in boot leg or read option run on 2nd down you have a game plan unless its 3rd and long. That's how I would coach it.
If the Haley calls plays like Ben is in there, he's a fool.
Best guess:
Vick passing 16-31 220 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
Vick rushing 4 for 20 yards.
If Vick throws it 38+ times, we are likely losers. Let him game manage the win, not try to win it on his arm. I have noticed that defensive players seem to go after Vick with vigor.

Pepsi is my client. We're the promotional company that activates pepsi's samplings, special events, and signings for team contracts. Started out doing it with the Ravens in 98-02, now I do the Pats, Bills, Browns, Bengals, and Redskins (Frito Lay only). The rest are Pepsi teams.
Sucks that the Steelers are a Pepsi team but don't have us do much activation there...
