Killing me not hearing anything. Just want to hear that he can move his legs. That's all.
Per Gerry Dulac:
Ryan Shazier "better than what it could have been," per team source. Looking better

I sure would like to know what that means
Could be a compression injury with swelling around the spinal cord instead of a severed spinal cord. Worst case is severed, anything else you have a chance to walk again. Same time it could also mean that the injury is in the lower back and not the neck, so the potential paralysis does not affect respiration or the upper body. Won’t know until the hospital, Steelers, or Shazier releases an update.I sure would like to know what that means
No matter how it turns out for Shazier, I wouldn't bet against the Steelers mowing down the rest of their regular-season opponents and getting the No. 1 seed.
What they pulled off, to come back after what appeared to be a devastating injury to a key player - not to mention their sloppy play - was very impressive.
If they weren't on a mission before, they are now.
Worse case speculations? C'mon mannnnneeeWell said. I agree.. Shazier is most likely done for the year, gotta do it for him and Mr. Rooney now.

Just curious if they thought it was a spinal chord/neck injury why didn't they immobilize his head/neck?

Because it isnt his head neck. Im not really sure why they didnt take him off in the ambulance. They carted him to the ambulance.Just curious if they thought it was a spinal chord/neck injury why didn't they immobilize his head/neck?

It's listed as back, but the way he couldn't move his legs, just thought they'd be more cautious with the head/neckBecause it isnt his head neck. Im not really sure why they didnt take him off in the ambulance. They carted him to the ambulance.
I think Ben had that in 2009 or 2010Radio saying some players are tweeting that it is being called a spinal concussion, similar to injury Tommy Maddox had a few years ago. Sounding good.
