The best thing he's ever done was basically forced on him. When he was hired he delegated and let his assistants do what they do. Since Tomlin moved on from his original coordinators and he took control of the D, we've won 3 playoff games in like 13 years.I appreciate the success he has here and he was a really good coach. I've wanted to move on for years now, but was still in the boat that he's still a top coach in the NFL even as we started this season. I'm honestly not sure that is the case. The way this team lines up each week, it appears more and more as though the game is passing him by.
I think he's just an average coach who landed in the right spot at the right time, that's being proven more and more every year.
