Pickens would not have had this success here

I appreciate the success he has here and he was a really good coach. I've wanted to move on for years now, but was still in the boat that he's still a top coach in the NFL even as we started this season. I'm honestly not sure that is the case. The way this team lines up each week, it appears more and more as though the game is passing him by.
The best thing he's ever done was basically forced on him. When he was hired he delegated and let his assistants do what they do. Since Tomlin moved on from his original coordinators and he took control of the D, we've won 3 playoff games in like 13 years.
I think he's just an average coach who landed in the right spot at the right time, that's being proven more and more every year.

Thank you for a post that gets to the point about what Tomlin is without mentioning DEI.

There are many here who fall back on that lame crap while ignoring the decade after decade of mediocre white re-tread coaches that moved from team to team. Yet, never a peep about those guys.

Tomlin is what he is regardless of his skin color. It's time to move on.

And the irony of not knowing the difference between affirmative action and DEI...they can't even get their racism correct. Talk about incompetence...lol.
