Oregon's Gestapo movement

Here, try this nice, neat, logical flow of dialogue. The GOP senators were ******* for running away scared. Then - furthermore - the right-wing militia were also ******* for throwing a hissy fit & threatening the State Capitol, forcing it to shut down.

That's what I meant. ******* on the right, everywhere you look. :)

You can try to stitch it together after the fact. It was still nonsensical.

Thank God we have a well regulated right-wing militia to help run the affairs of the country. :rolleyes1: What a bunch of yellow-bellied dolts, these Republicans, the whole lot of them. Unhinged, hysterical *******.

Threats from militia provoke shutdown at Oregon capitol, a day after GOP lawmakers fled

Well what would you do if the legislature that is dominated by three urban areas was going to pass a law based on FeeFees and Pseudo-Science that was going to destroy your life, livelihood, and the value of your property? Tyrannical legislation like this is precisely what the 2nd Amendment is for.

Well that is wrong is so many ways I can't even begin to start..... Jesus DBS, what Oregan is passing is not infringing on the Bill of Rights. And if it was, the court system is still available to you. Shouldn't violence be the LAST option?

What the **** are you guys becoming in this thread?

Okay kidnapping is not a violent crime? I think this so called militia is just trying to protect these senators from the storm troopers the governor is deploying. Oh and by the by the governor has participated in walkouts herself in the past when she was in the senate.

We have seen what the left is capable of at a federal level with law enforcement. I wouldn’t put anything past them .

This is the perfect illustration to describe most people on both sides. To think otherwise is a perfect example of the illustration.

One of the major problems with our Republic is lack of representation. That goes for all levels of government. It leads to voter apathy. Assume you are right leaning voter in a blue district, you may figure why bother voting but if there were more districts, that would spread out the representation and those seats would become much less powerful and a better representation for the people which is what it's all about. Plus you might actually be able to speak with your representative.

The (R) legislators were not trying to avoid harm or military service, for crying out loud. The (R)'s were therefore not "scared," Tibs. They instead took the only step available to stop insane legislative measures that would decimate Oregon's economy.

Once again, your entire world view is so darkened by politics that you are simply unable to view an issue - any issue, it seems - rationally.

I hate this "sides" ****. Try to take issues at face value and with as much objectivity as possible and forget what others think.

The mob mentality (on both sides) sucks and it's what sucking this country down the sinkhole.

I've always wanted to take a DNA test but as someone that works in science I know they aren't that accurate. The data bases are small. Even when Warren took her test they had to match her DNA with Mexican DNA because there isn't enough Indian DNA to compare it. DNA testing is good for "general" characteristics but it can't identify country of origin very well at all. It gets you on the right continent... sometimes.

I hear ya. I want to take one too. My two numbers are based on known family lineage. Even that may not be completely accurate. All I know for sure is that I had a grandfather who was Italian and a great great grandmother who was Cherokee Indian. I'll take the Ancestory.com test some day, just for the hell of it.

True story. I was visiting my maternal grandparents one summer when I was a kid. My grandmother told me that she had relatives who were Dutch, so she is part Dutch. My grandfather said "You never told me that! I don't like the Dutch!" and he walked away. I laughed my *** off.

Most people have no idea where their ancestry is from. The only reason I know is because of a lineage book that was written about my family on my father's side. I know that my first american ancestors came here in 1635. I have ancestors that fought in the revolution along with Washington. He was a captain I believe.

Cue Ron with the keeping time clip from Silver Streak...

One of my favorite movies of all time. The best line from that scene is when Richard Pryor is going to put the brown shoe polish on Wilder's face (GASP....blackface) to sneak him past the cops and Wilder doesn't want him to. Pryor says, "What's the matter, afraid it won't come off?"

One more.
