kaepernick moves workout, says nfl demanded he sign liability waiver
colin kaepernick won’t work out at the falcons’ facility today after all.
Instead, kaepernick has moved his workout to another location, and his representatives released a statement accusing the nfl of not acting in a forthright manner in organizing the workout.
“from the outset, mr. Kaepernick requested a legitimate process and from the outset the nfl league office has not provided one,” the statement said. “most recently, the nfl has demanded that as a precondition to the workout, mr. Kaepernick sign an unusual liability waiver that addresses employment-related issues and rejected the standard liability waiver from physical injury proposed by mr. Kaepernick’s representatives. Additionally, mr. Kaepernick requested all media be allowed into the workout to observe and film it and for an independent film crew to be there to ensure transparency. The nfl denied this request.”
it remains to be seen whether the teams that planned to attend the workout at the falcons’ facility will still attend at the new location.

Teams should bill Kap for the travel expenses incurred.
The code " The code states that persons present are expected to stand and face the flag, if there is one. Civilians should stand to attention with right hand over heart, while military personnel in uniform and veterans should salute throughout.Sep 25, 2017" that was written it stated what it wished people to do. Stand at attention. Soldiers who lost their lives deserve our respect. It is a moment in time we can pay our respects to those injured physically or mentally or killed in action. Easy to honor them with this time that has been set out to do just that. There's other times protests can be more appropriate. No need to invade the little time set out for the soldiers in this country. People want to come up for reasons to change certain things in this country. This is one instance that doesn't need tweaking from people.Slash, my brother.
I understand your viewpoints - really, I do.
I'd like you to consider this...
When we pray to God, in an act of reverence, 'we kneel'.
When a teammate is seriously injured on the field, 'we kneel' as an act of respect and honor.
So, I ask in earnest concern, 'who deemed it wrong when anyone 'kneels' during the National Anthem?
Let me again state that I do not condone Kap's actions or the platform he and the others took to show their 'peaceful protest'---I just understand why they did it...
I was more going for ******* than ********. Standing for the anthem is a patriotic thing, if someone is protesting the fact that people are getting shot while being unarmed. The majority of people agreeing with you doesnt mean you are right, most times it just means everyone else is just as bow to peer pressure as you are. I support the troops by attempting to elect people who will pay them well and who support programs to help the vets. But hey, some ******** stands for a song so they rock.

I don't want any player outside of a year off. Majority of players skill erodes. This isn't some stud SB efficient passing QB that you might be ok with if he lost a step. A running QB losing a step? You might as well shovel some dirt on him he is done.
