Gruden wasn't coaching for a decade so arguing that he hasn't been to the playoffs since 2002 doesn't serve as an accurate benchmark. Gruden and the Raiders have been trending favorably since he took over the team. Cheerleader Tomlin hasn't been able to do ANYTHING since losing the Cowher built team that he inherited in the late 2000s. Just look at his stupid expressions on the sideline week after week. The cheerleader has been exposed for not having a clue and any reasonable individual knows this!

Sorry your argument fell apart. Gruden wasn't in the league for a decade because he didn't want to coach. He's done with the pressure and couldn't take it anymore. He won his only superbowl with Dungy's players and got booted as a head coach immediately after making it to a super bowl with the Raiders. And now the Raiders overpaid to bring him back because they now long for the 'good ol days'. Well they passed Gruden by and is heart isn't in it, but hey, I'd coach that toilet bowl for $10M/yr.
Want to know what Tomlin was doing while Gruden was frowning out of the league? Winning a SB, making it to another, and an AFCC game. You want to hang your hat on Gruden's 'current' accomplishments? It's 3 non winning seasons brah... WOW, HE'S AMAZIFUL!!! HIRE HIM!!! FIRE TOMLIN!!
