Ohio State/Oregon

i don't understand why OSU is passing so much. They should be able to just run on Oregon and have them dead tired by the 4th quarter.
 
This has been fun to watch so far. Turnovers & drops have been huge. Does Oregon not kick field goals?
 
Goddamnit. the Buckeyes are dominating the ducks but they can't stop fumbling the ****** ball!

No, they call plays like a 12 year old on Madden. They have some chart that says smart people go for it. Of course those "analytics" take into account thousands of plays, many of which against crappy teams and not when you are in the Championship game and your opponent is dominating the line of scrimmage.
 
It certainly seems like OSU is beating them up right now.

This game shouldve been nearly over had OSU not self destructed....

Strange things go thru the minds of kids that are used to rackin up 45+ points a game and they only look up and see 7 in the half.....strange things like doubt......one more long sustained drive and OSU can take their heart out.....We are gonna see the mettle of Mariota and how he deals with pressure and adversity....a leader he shall be...or not
 
I know it isn't going to be a blowout....but it would be poetic justice to blow out the team that attempts to blow out every lesser opponent 100-0.
 
Apparently they are gonna let Oregon hold every down now.
 
Good thing Oregon didn't take that ***** FG earlier. It would be an 8 point game now going into half. But hey, they are "playing to win" so it's cool that they are down 2 scores now. So long as you "play to win" you can call whatever nonsense you want and the media will slob your knob.

He passed up sure points in a championship game where his OL can't block the defense. It's so stupid it must be brilliant. I love it. He plays to win.
