Official Prediction thread, Steelers vs Jaguars. Steelers 6-2-1 on the road vs the Ja

Steelers 28
Jags 14

And you claim your logic is iron clad.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Classic.

Only if you knew as much you think you know.

I thought Cope was being facetious when he said the Steelers are undefeated against cat teams..

mr dimples doesnt know what that means. mono-syllabic words are his strong suit.

Fournette banged some rust off this week and will be 100%

Steelers better bring their A game in run defense. Jags will try to pound it down their throats, big test for the D-line and linebackers, as well as Keith Butler.

The back end has to hold up and not get gashed like last time. I imagine Burnett will have a big role in stopping the run. If there ever was a reason they brought him in, this is it. Him and Sean Davis have to hold up, the whole D needs to converge & gang tackle. I also like Terrell Edmunds in this matchup, maybe we'll see the Steelers safety trinity out there a few times.

Everything else will sort itself out, provided they don't give up big plays.

And Boswell has to keep making his kicks, staying on the straight and narrow. His road to redemption has been a dogged one, gotta stop missing Xtra points....

All said, I'm looking for solid, hard-hitting defense this Sunday. AB, Big Ben & 'Big Game' James Conner will take care of the rest. Every game's a big game for Conner, gotta love that about him.

Steelers 27, Jaguars 17

And just think a negative of a positive. If you knew less than what we know you know...............it would be a negative.

Are you Just hanging with the boys (t*mmy b*y) and slurping slurpies ????

Salute the nation

It's a prediction thread. Always have to have fun with these. Plus my points are solid. We haven't lost on the road since the Chicago game last year, and we're 2-0 against cat teams so far this season. That's 2 Meows in the win column!!

Peeps is just trying to get under my skin, but he has no power over me. I have 3 little brothers. I know how this game is played.

And after we beat the bengals a second time we will be 4-0 against ******* this year!

Too bad we don't play the Lions.

Jags starting Center is out for the season.

Here is the perfect chance for payback and being fired up after two important wins, BUT Tomlin allowing the team off till Wednesday and having time to get that oh we are good feeling this game is a worry. We have never played well in Jacksonville, Jacksonville just came off a bad lose, so which Steeler team shows up... Steelers 24-17

Holy cow talk about iron clad logic!

There are 16 man teams,,,Steelers, Packers, Raiders, Vikings, Giants etc,....and 14 animal teams, Eagles, Broncos, Bears, Colts, Rats..etc...and the man teams dominate in Super Bowl victories 37-12!

We've got an advantage right off the bat cause we're a man team!

To boot no cat has ever won a Super Bowl.

Man:
Steelers 6
Packers 4
49'ers 5
Raiders 3
Redskins 3
Buccaneers 1
Browns
Giants 4
Titans
Cowboys 5
Patriots 5
Bills
Saints 1
Chiefs 1
Texans
Vikings

Animals:
Eagles 1
Falcons
Bears 1
Lions
Jags
Panthers
Bengals
Colts 2

What a fun post. I would argue the Bills could be an animal team since the Buffalo (Bison to be more exact) is on the helmet, but Buffalo Bill was a person, so the logic is sound!

Jags starting Center is out for the season.

Their top linemen, being the center, is out. This is a tough loss for their running game and pass pro. I expect some bad QB/Center exchanges this week, and will not be surprised to see a ball or 2 on the ground because of it.

.

Yep...I had looked up the Bills name to be sure.

But a barbershop quartet!?!?!

After a public contest, the team adopted the same name as the AAFC Buffalo Bills, the former All-America Football Conference team in Buffalo. The AAFC Bills franchise was named after the Buffalo Bills, a popular barbershop quartet, whose name was a play on the name of the famed Wild West showman Buffalo Bill Cody.

Some sources omit the barbershop quartet.

So, on that list, barbershop quarter teams lead in going to the SB and never winning, I guess

The Jagoffs are beat up. Steelers take advantage. Antonio Brown has his biggest day of the year, 165 yards and 3 td's. Ben throws for 375 and 4 tds. defense gets 4 sacks and an int. Steelers win 42-13

Jags are beat up. Landry Jones starts and throws for 500+ yards and 4 TDs.

A quartet consists of 4.

The Bills lost 4. Fitting I guess.

We have four wins in a row, they have four losses in a row. Playing in J-town. While this is a classic trap game this is finally an opportunity for Tomlin to show he can overcome the propensity of this team to play down to the opposition. I'm thinking Steelers 33, Jacksonville 20

agree with the posters that say this is a trap game, unfortunately I concur- Jags for whatever reason play us tough. We always have a head up our *** road game somewhere along the way , lets not count the Saints game, so it is either here, Denver or Oakland. Lets throw out Oakland, lol it could be this one. If Fournette is good , Jags will try to control clock and keep our O off the the field.
I see a close one
Us 27
Them 24
