Official Prediction thread, Steelers vs Jaguars.

Steelers 6-2-1 on the road vs the Jaguars 3-6

Time, November 18[SUP]th[/SUP] 1:00PM Eastern Standard time

Odds. Steelers -5

  • The Steelers have won four games in a row, the Jaguars have lostfour games in a row

  • The Steelers score on average 31 points a game, the Jaguarsscore on average just 17.8 points a game.

  • We are minus 1 on takeaways. They are minus 9 on takeaways

  • While the Jaguars do have a good defense ( 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] overall in yardage surrendered ) , our defense is improving and currently ranked 8[SUP]th[/SUP] in that category.

On paper we should destroy Jacksonville. But this game means more to our psyche as this team beat us twice last year. A clear win here will do wonders as this team had our number in 2017. A road loss would destroy our momentum.

Players to watch out for:

CB Ramsey. Perhaps the best corner in the NFL, Ben should steer clear of #20, though I must admit, burning his mouthy rear end would mean a lot!

RB Fournette. He’shaving a huge sophomore slump thanks in part to a hamstring injury, but he also beat the crap out of the defense. Stopping him early and forcing a very average QB to pass should create turnovers.

WR Moncrief. Capable of having big days, he’s the closest thing the Jaguars have to a deep threat.

DE Ngakoue.Their best pass rusher, and a player with a of hits on the QB.

Prediction: Steelers 38, Jaguars 17

Great few days for the Steelers. Big win over the Panthers. Losses by Cheats and Bungles. Bell saga finally seems over. Fucco apparently has some kind of hip injury. Blake Bortles is back to being Blake Bortles. Jags seem a shadow of the team from last season.

So of course this is screaming trap game.

Jags 30-28

Steelers 30- jagoffs 20

Fournette banged some rust off this week and will be 100%. Jags are desperate. Anyone assuming this is an easy win is in for a surprise.

Steelers 24
Jags 13

Steelers 27
Jags 24

We're on a good run, and as long as Conner is playing their defense can't stop everybody. The only reason I have it that close is to account for a fluke turnover or S/T play for them.

All these statistics don't mean ****. JAX gives us a hard time every time we meet them.

Most fans know there usually is no easy wins with the Steelers.

Frosty is correct here. This has trap game written all over it. Plus, when I think the Steelers are going to lose, they usually win. So, because I care - Us 27. Them 34

0 to 100 WR with a well rested QB and a coaching staff making improvements and a fading bell..................35
We are who we thought they are QB, chincked defense but nice weather......................................................24

Salute the nation

A punch less team that turns the ball over more than we do, vs our offense? Jax is bad this year and in a losing slump. I can't see a loss here unless Ben has multiple interceptions and Conner has an off day.

Jax has just 19 sacks, good for 27th in the NFL. Ben should have plenty of time to find the open man.

None of this is in anyway a better indicator of wins or losses, as my world renown predictive skills.

this is a textbook perfect example of overlooking.
this team beat us twice last year. in Heinz Field. Once in the playoffs.
THIS game is their Super Bowl. They're going to play hard in this one. Harder than they have since Week 2, when they beat POP's team, 31-20.

We don't lose on the road anymore, plus we're undefeated against cat teams:

Steel Reserve 32
Jacksonville Pussycats 13

And you claim your logic is iron clad.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Classic.

Only if you knew as much you think you know.
