ummm no but it would make it harder to make the playoffs.

Umm..of course we're not done. .It's all guesses and opinions anyway. No one really knows.

When I said "done" I was looking at the big (Super Bowl) picture..my feeling is that we are not Super Bowl material if we cant right the ship and beat the Bungles.
 
The defensive game plan to shutdown the THREE explosive WR's from ATL worked very well last week. AJ Green IS NOT Julio Jones - close but no cigar - so, IMO, some minor tweaks to the defense and I smell a victory just like I smell apple turnovers.

Ben and AB need to be working round the clock on timing and James Washington is quite ready yet (give more time to Justin Hunter). Don't shy away from the running game.

I really don't think they are "done" if they lose. Don't forget, we typically screw over Cinci in the most painful manner possible; what would be more painful than them winning this game but losing to us when it matters even more, like the 2nd game OR in the playoffs?

I think we have the chance to keep getting better as the season progresses. That is what the Steelers "typically" do. They wait until it really matters before they get focused and feel urgency. (We don't have a coach to get them focused before then, he has to rely on them feeling it on their own.)

And Cinci is peaking (which probably means they will fall off later). And they have talent.

But, we showed signs of life last week, even on D.

Put it this way, when I am looking over games to bet, I don't bet this game either way. I stay away. But if you DO want my picks on games I am touching, PM me.

Cant disagree. The problem is this requires us to use the same aggressive game plan. Hopefully the coaches have learned, but I would not be surprised if we come out and drop into zone after zone w/ no blitz.

Holy **** - I was out by 25 points last week and still won???? Did everyone else pick Falcons to win.

For this week I'm following the same philosophy - Ben's had hs two WTF games for the season, and his much better record in October than September. The main question is which Steelers defence shows up - the good one, the average one or the bad one. The Steelers usually do a good job of keeping A J Green reasonably quiet, so I'm going:

Steelers 38
Bengals 23
 
If Coach is still monitoring the thread for the winner....

I predict he will f-up several times before selecting the closest predictor...

We found our Mojo last week..and the Bungals are banged up..

TDX27 called a 6 point win. I pick the poster who picks the winning team, closest to the margin of victory. If there is a tie, whomever gets the closest to the Steelers score wins
