Official Prediction Thread - Steelers / Bengals
Steelers 2-2-1 @ Bengals 4-1
Time. Sunday, 1:00PM EST on CBS
Odds: Bengals are a 3 point favorite.
The Steelers have got to be the most enigmatic team in the NFL. On paper there is a lot of talent. On the field too many penalties and sometimes questionable coaching. The team has been an odds favorite for the first five games yet their records is 2-2-1. But in their last outing they played winning football on offense, defense, and special teams.
The good news here is the Bengal’s have suspect defense ( 26th overall ) with their run defense giving up 4.5 yards per rush, ranked 23rd overall. With DeCastro and Gilbert healthy, Conner could have another big day.
Ben will need to be careful with the football, as these dirty cats are good at creating interceptions.
I like what I saw out of Haden, Watt, Hilton, and Heyward in the last game. The loss of Williams seemed to work out well for us, as Fort shined. For once the defense is living up to expectations.
I’m calling a win!
Steelers 31
Bengals 27
History of winners:
Week three winner: KTW. Steelers 31, Bucs 28
Week four winner: DBS1970. Ravens 28, Steelers 13
Week five winner: Aussie Steeler, who predicted a 46-37 win
Week Six winner: TDX27 Steelers 37, Bungles 31
